As a Milan fan im more afraid that Sardar will be an epic flop and turn all italian teams against iranians for future players. Thats how little faith I have in Sardar
In transfer ha maro rasman ghaede
15/20 / 25 yrs ago you would have woke up, Hashemian is at Bayen! karimi at Bayern! kia Hamburg , etc
Alan maro hamele kardan yeki bekhad bere ye ja!
^ Definitely agree and that's even more clear these days. As recently as a few years ago, I thought they were actually very close or equal in terms of talent and importance to TM. But Sardar hasn't really lived up to his full potential while Mehdi has far exceeded his.
the Bold nails the difference between the two essentially..!
in terms of pure 9center forward play & in transition passing, Sardar is a superior talent to Mehdi but Mehdi is a far more complete package attacking player with Far Far more hard-working, Professionalism & Commitment to his life trade..!
Serdar Azmoun and Bayer 04 Leverkusen could soon go their separate ways. The Iranian striker is currently negotiating a transfer with AC Milan. However, there is still no agreement.
According to Sky information, the 28-year-old will still be in the stadium for the Bundesliga opener against RB Leipzig (3:30 p.m. LIVE & EXCLUSIVE on Sky). At Bayer, Azmoun, who arrived from Saint-Petersburg in 2022, was never able to assert himself. His contract is still valid until 2027. Bild reported first.
After signing Victor Boniface, the Iranian international is now looking for a new challenge. With Patrik Schick and Adam Hlozek, Azmoun has two more opponents in front of him in Leverkusen.
Bayer Leverkusen will apparently transfer striker Sardar Azmoun to Italy. As reported by Bild, the Iranian is close to a move to Serie A top club AC Milan.
Will Bayer Leverkusen give away another attacker despite the injury to goal scorer Patrik Schick? According to a report in Bild, Sardar Azmoun is on the verge of leaving the Bundesliga. According to the report, the 28-year-old, who is still contractually bound to Bayer until 2027, has already reached an agreement with top Italian club AC Milan on a move. Sky also reports that Milan is very interested in the Iranian international striker.
The World Cup player, who is currently still suffering from a calf injury, had moved from Zenit St. Petersburg to Leverkusen in January 2022. There he had contributed five goals and five assists in 44 competitive games. After the signing of striker Victor Boniface, who joined the Werkself from Belgian club Union Saint-Gilloise, he was increasingly seen as a candidate for sale.
And this despite the fact that one of his biggest rivals in the central striker position, Schick, is out for an indefinite period after undergoing surgery on his adductor. In the event of Azmoun's departure, the Leverkusen squad would only have two alternatives in Boniface and Adam Hlozek. This summer, Bayer also traded the name of Niclas Füllkrug, who is currently still under contract with Werder Bremen until 2025.
For Rio Ave and Porto he got such a low contract for him, after tax Mehdi was earning more in Qatar than he has in Porto
Even with the help of Rio Ferdinand and Jorge Mendes, he can't still get him a good move
Fair play to Sardar's agent for helping him leave Russia and the most important time and getting this move after an underperforming year

In terms of garnering lucrative contracts with higher profile teams Sardar’s agent mops the floor with Mehdi’s reps/especially so his immediate agent who negotiated that utterly amateur & retarded Porto contract for him.. thinking he is being zerang by agreeing to a embarrassingly low pay package & thinking he can make up for the losses by adding a small percentage kickback from his ensuing transfer fee..! So in essence making Mehdi a cheap to retain for full terms of contract & highly valuable performer knowing he’d have to give his best in order to attract a lucrative next transfer & taking incentive outa of agreeing to a possible sale by taking a portion of the sale price away from them ..!
that’s what you’d call being naive/lacking business shrewdly ..!
on the other hand Sardar being godfathered by the scandalously shrewd Berdieve has made mad stash for himself & papa birdie with every loan or transfer in Russia & beyond so far ..!
Mehdi now needs to learn a thing or two from him & his reps, don’t get duped into a foolish contract extension, go out do your best in final season & in six month start negotiations on a fatA$$ signing bonus m, plus an attractive paycheck with another EU team & force Porto’s hand into offloading him early for measly few millions in winter .. knowing he is a goner in summer …! Sorta Doing em dirty … like Sardar did to Zenit ..!
according to experts here sardar sucked and only teams interested in him would be turkey if hes lucky...LOL. Now going to CL semi finalist. Admit the guy is a high class player, he just needs to find his form again.
Ultimately fit at leverkusen never materialized, for multiple reasons including many of his own. If it goes through he gets another chance at top club (which frankly despite leverkusen's big improvements under alonso is still a step up in terms of reputation, CL football).
I think once fully fit he will fancy his chances to get a decent number of games, given the number of games they will play and the fact only competition is giroud.

Sardar himself is talented enough to play anywhere! He has a couple of world class traits
It's he himself who has often stated he would love to go to Fenerbahce, and Turkish league in general
