Sardar is out for now, is probably injured for most of September, so according to the kicker, a sale is no longer an option. It seems like that it's the same injury before the WC.

woah ... means he got a grade III then or at best, a grade II calf strain
"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

He needs to be very careful and not rush back or it'll be a poor Asian Cup for him

I think rushing him back for WC was in hindsight a terrible decision. That calf never recovered properly...

A dumb decision in a long line of dumb decisions by the "King".

I still to this day don't understand why he started against USA when he was clearly unfit.

I still remember when he literally looked like he was in pain against Wales and was limping and doing the sitting down move when you're in pain. He definitely was not recovered during the world cup

Ever played football at a meaningful level or had a serious injury? When you rush back ~2 months before you are meant to you typically cause long-lasting damage. You may be able to get away with it for some months afterwards but re-aggravation is always a real possibility.

In this case the same calf, the same injury, the same time on the treatment table. If it does not heal properly this time it will be the end for him in Germany without any doubt, and likely have a huge effect on how explosive he is in the long term, a key feature of his game

The "King" is spot on. For all of you still worshipping the ground CQ walks on, put that in your hooka and smoke it.
Hate to say it by Azmoun is dun in Germany.
I hope he proves me wrong, would like nothing more than that. Maybe it will spark a fire under his arse.

Sucks to see Sardar injured again; it seems to often be related to his poor fitness / constant weight gain over the summer breaks. I have yet to see him maintain his end of the season form / fitness levels for an entire season. This will probably impact his transfer chances too, really sucks
