not so sure it's the same calf that he reinjured .!?

anyways I think he'll be good to go in few weeks time
hopefully uses this time off to workout other muscles & improve general fitness & go on a crash diet of sorts ..!
Not sit around on couch all day callin his momma while munching on Sulzewurst & watching horse races ..!
    BacheLot.... you are a genius!

Indeed it was his right calf injured before the world Cup and his left calf now.

In this case the same calf, the same injury, the same time on the treatment table. If it does not heal properly this time it will be the end for him in Germany without any doubt, and likely have a huge effect on how explosive he is in the long term, a key feature of his game

It is already the end in Germany for him. Meh meh seasons so far. Always injured at the worst time to kill his little momentum, I don't think leverkusen club/fans and the Nigerian pos will let him come back quietly

It is of course very bitter, he would have had good chances for playing time, as Boniface was surely meant more for the Diaby position, Sardar would have got proper playing time with the absence of Schick. So he will return at a similar time as Schick - shortly before - the kicker speculates at the earliest for the Bayern game on 15th of September. Even if he did, he would only be substituted and maybe play 10 minutes, Schick is expected back 2-3 weeks later. It is also said that Sardar himself wants to go, which suggests that Bayer would like him to stay on - as a back-up obvs. Either way, it doesn't look like things will ever work out between Leverkusen and Sardar.

He's got big calf muscles which he really puts to work in terms of explosive jumping and movement, but there are all these aspects of conditioning he and the people around him need to be aware of. This is professional football, I hope he's not doing crazy things without warming up properly and having good physio etc...

                I hope it’s a baseless rumor.

Fabrizio is pretty credible so there has to be some truth to it.

But I hope it doesn't happen. If he goes to another club in a big 4 league, fine, but going back to Zenit in 1.5 years with his tail between his legs is less than ideal (especially considering Russia's current geopolitical climate and being banned from UEFA competitions).

He became injury prone, afraid to say we don't see his good days anymore!!

no shot it’s baseless….fabrizio is the most credible guy there is. just bc they’re interested though doesn’t mean it’s likely to happen, I highly doubt both bayer or Sardar would want that.

the real highlight in the tweet for me is that “there are other clubs interested”…..I’d really like to know who they are

hasn’t fabrizio recently been making some big swings and missing?

you’re right, just cause they want him doesn’t mean they’ll get him.

Let’s hope he has more ambition than that.

I don't think Zenit is an option, correctly the German media is talking about the fact that a transfer is legally impossible, because transactions to Russia are forbidden in Germany, no matter what kind.

Despite this Fabrizio guys is reliable source, I'm willing to bet that Sardar wont go back. First of all, he seems to enjoy the life in Germany, especially now that he's becoming father and I dont think his wife even is willing to move to a cold country like Russia. Also Sardar is smart guy, he knows that Russia are an isolated country right now and also totally banned from all competitions so there is absolutely now wins for Sarda but perhaps money witch I think Sardar has lot of already and I dont think would be a first priority right now.

Fabrizio is probably one of the most reliable secondary sources out there, he isn’t in the know with clubs/players but tends to put out reliable information.
He has been pretty bang on with Liverpool rumours this transfer window, even more so than some of our more trusted links.
