Great move. Think it will bcome official shortly. Roma just beat leverkusen in do or die EL semi, so hes not downgrading there.
They signed creative players to address some of their issues: Auoar from Lyon, Renato Sanches from PSG.
Very limited CF competition. He will probably form a great pair with Belotti in 3-5-2 (Very gardankoloft zahmatkesh type CF who zenit actually wanted to pair with sardar at one point), and of course if fit Sardar is much better than belotti overall, who is limited technically and not very prolific, so he can start in the 1 striker setup.
Mou is a master motivator. If Sardar can truly stay fit this can resurrect him for sure.
Again for all the shit talking by a few ppl here, it is clear Sardars quality is understood and respected by many top EU bosses. Questions over his fitness and form now are why roma were able to swipe and insert a fairly low obligation clause if certain things on sardars end (minutes wise) and certain things on the clubs end (probably CL qualification) happen.
And btw, this is still a very big deal even if azmouns situation doesnt warrant much "hype" right now. Roma are a giant club, not comparable with leverkusen, with (love him or hate him) one of the most recognizable coaches of the 21st century, for them to sign an iranian who had to go through russian backwaters to make it in Europe is still a serious achievement for us. Enjoy it because it may be a while until we have players in sardar/mehdi caliber again.

I always rated Roma above Leverkusen. Italian League is slower and fit more our style in general. Also when you enter a top club, there is a high probability you end in another top Italian club later as there is a lot of exchange within the league. Serie A seems also be more hyped than Bundesliga, among top scorers there are Fullskrug, Grifo and some unknown guy

i read somewhere... its either loan with 8mil buy mandatory or loan with 13mil if not mandated purchase but as optional..!?
im assuming some performance based milestones are there to differentiate between which option will Roma end up exercising ..?
wonder if he gets to keep his relatively high salary he was getting at Bayer..??im guessing he had to take a slight discount on that front to grease the wheels for this deal to materialize..?
he'd definitely enjoy life outside the pitch far more in Rome than he has so far in that shittown zeGermany..!!?
just got back from my first visit to Italy this summer and i can now see why so many iroonies out here claim to be Italian ..!! lool
their folks are sooo much like us ...!!

"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And itās one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate peopleās demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh
