If these rumors of hull shopping him are true then it must be strictly due to the injury issues he has bc their management and coaches have had nothing but praise for young allahyar. He just cannot stay healthy and idk why that is tbh….heyf

I believe that not taking care of yourself during the off-season and not maintaining a proper diet worsens the risk of injury in any sport. This is why athletes like LeBron James, who dedicate both the off-season and the regular season to caring for their bodies, tend to have long and successful careers. But this is just speculation with Allahyar. He comes from a line of wrestlers, so he should be extra tough. But it requires great discipline.

Many Iranians have a strong attachment to traditional foods like beranj and barbari, even among our professional athletes.
"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

yeah that’s what’s surprising to me about allahyar though. He comes off super hardworking he is for sure a gym rat you always see him posting pics in the gym in the off season working his butt off.

Hustling in the gym is one thing….that’s along the lines of work ethic which again seems like he has always had a good amount of. However the question mark for me is does he have the smarts to do some of the things you said and take preventative measures to make sure he can stay healthy. We don’t have enough info in that department to have an opinion one way or the other unfortunately.

He hasn't been the same player since his injuries. Perhaps his tenacity is unsustainable. But I'm rooting for him, seems like he has his head on straight.

Taking pics in the gym doesn't mean much man. It's things that are off-camera that matter. Saeid Ezatolahi takes tons of images in the gym too.

It’s not the same at all….allahyar is actually physically in great condition, Ezi has been overweight for years. Not only do they look different but the ground they cover in their matches is a reflection of that too. Allahyar is all over the pitch he gets up and down so fast that’s why hill even played him on the wing. Allahyar just needs to be smarter and put an emphasis on figuring out what he needs to do to stay healthy….that’s it.

Good point. Thing in our wrestling culture is that you are expected to hustle in the gym until you die. This is why its important that they have a good environment regarding training. Iran always produces medal winners in that department but no wrestler is long lived in Iran bc of injuries. Russians wrestlers many time avoid the gym all together and do "natural" training, calisthenics and working using your own and others body weight.

If he is a gym rat and have good physio guys in his team then he will learn and its all good. Hopefully.

The fact he keeps getting injured despite seemingly being in "good shape" should tell you there is (a) a major problem in his training/workout regiment or that he doesn't train/workout hard enough; (b) his eating is shit. Food is fuel, and if he is not getting the right fuel, his body will break down when it's tested (as it would be in the Championship)

hull city itself hasn’t exactly been doing a great job at avoiding injuries.

they train at the schedule and places their owner wants. Not what’s best for the team.

                            a real shame.

Is this his choice? Or is hull just desperate to sell him?
