Are you kidding me my ferend????

Pourhaydarzadeh deserves to be in the starting eleven and Mbappe has already passed his peak!!!

His main traits are his strength, speed and work rate. He isn't exactly a footballing brain and his technical ability and tactical awareness wasnt as good as some of his Charleroid U17 peers like Delfi or Hosseinzadeh. He still looks like a headless chicken on the pitch

If anything, the championship is the ideal league for his specific traits, that's why the fans warmed to him immediately at the very beginning, before the injuries and loss of fitness

Yeah it's one of the things that keeps me from visiting and contributing to this forum regularly, this weak mindset that the world is against our players and all the apologists with half baked conspiracy theories.

Sure the country gets sanctioned internationally but coaches live in a results business so will play North Korean, Chinese and Iranian players over European ones, IF they are good enough. Also, sadly all football clubs are businesses and players (or specifically their contracts) are their assets, so they want the player to achieve optimal value.

And if it's not that, it's arguements like "but our player has played at a world cup" when he loses his place to a English, Spanish, German, French, etc player. So what? Some random Angolan fullback played at a world cup 16 years ago and never amounted to anything at club level... and we couldn't even beat his team with arguably the best TM squad we've ever brought to a WC.

The way some people around here talk about our players and national team like they've ever done something more than qualify for a few world cups and fail to get past the group stages or live on our past glories of winning a few Asian Cups almost 50 years ago.

At it's most excusable it's blind patriotism... But some of it borders on delusional. It's like listening to Liverpool fans who lived on past glories o er the last 30 years, before they started winning things again... But at least they won respectable titles and have had elite players.

If we want Iranian footballers and the national team to succeed, we need more people like Mahdavikia who acknowledge and are trying to fix the grassroots problems that plague such a large country / talent pool.

Yep agree that a lower tier eredivisie move would be worthwhile for him to get some game time and confidence back. Belgium would be good too if he isn't Charleroid

Hull had a 2-0 lead and blew it by half time. Still 45 min left. This team for real has issues

Looks like he has been spending a lot of time in the gym, has definitely beefed up even more.
When he came on they were playing to shore up the win so didn’t get much of a look in. However he used his strength well to win and keep the ball and win a foul in a good position and take the pressure off.

He got 2 minutes before regulation ended!

you know, i think all these stories about the mls transfer and friction with management is bs. what i actually think happened is that allahayar and hull city physio team and management decided it was better for the long run if allahayar spent some time off strengthening his muscular imbalances which probably have lead to a lot of injury. allahayar was already very muscular for a player, but its clear to see that even his quads were overdeveloped in comparison to his hamstrings in earlier posts, but thats just my 2 cents

I know he hasn’t been playing regularly, but I wish he was on AC list, just to gel with the team in camp more and get even garbage playing time against teams like palestine and honk kong. despite his injuries, i still consider him our biggest prospect and he can play a big role in next world cup for us

Never been his biggest fan, but I agree if he still has the fitness to perform close to his prior to injury level of pace & physicality & general high work rate levels then we still aint got the depth & luxury to overlook such somewhat promising young talents as bench offensive reinforcement, especially so if rumors of Sardar wanking out of AC has any Merits to it .!? :/
