Very good first half by Allahyar. Very active and positively involved in the offense. Good passes. Had a couple of shots, but couldn’t really get his feet on the ball to get a great strike. Can’t believe GN didn’t rate him to invite him. He would be a great asset as a super sub in TM. Come in the last 20 minutes and overwhelm the tired opposition with his pace and physicality.

Subbed out in last 10 minutes. Had a strike on target in second half. Also a Really nice cross that should have been a goal but teammate skied it.

The tie means that there will be a replay of the match to determine which team will move on to the round 4 of the FA Cup.

He was getting no time until last week.
It’s too late to invite him now unfortunately.

hopefully GN will invite him post Asian cup.

That means we will not win the Asian Cup.

I hope GN figures it out and wins the Asian Cup and get real qualified assistant managers who handle all the football-related stuff and he's there to control the personalities, egos and motivate his team.
"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

Sacking GN is worth more than winning an Asian cup we will never win anyways

If we win the Asian cup I guarantee you that things would stay the same because it is assumed that everything is going fine. IFF would not see the need

Not a dollar of our prize money will be used on football related activities

by that logic, IR and IFF should be investing the hell out of football as it may be only source of legit Euro/dollar transfer into the economy (or IR crony pockets). Much better money flow than dual national hostage taking IMHO

6 billion dollars of Iran assets frozen in Korean banks were transferred to Iran just now as a result of hostage diplomacy...as IRI sees it.

When the state owns the teams, the broadcaster and the economy, there is only monetary loss in football. Injections of 10 million Fifa cash every 4 years channelled through a bunch of dalals doesn't begin to cover the cost of football.

Football for IRI is a necessary expense to keep millions of men diverted from more fundamental problems.

Hull City are getting Fabio Carvalho from Liverpool on loan for the rest of the season.
                            More attacking competition for Allahyar

The amount of attackers/wingers they have is unbelievable.

well, the $6 B is actually stuck in Qatar and can’t be used since the Israel Gaza saga started, per the US.
