I hope the fact Arya deleted the tweet doesn’t mean that the move is back on and needs to be kept quiet…

      Thanks the and taremiscores

I gotta strongly disagree with the idea that this would have been an awful transfer or the “worst ever” that’s a huge exaggeration and maybe that’s bc you’re not familiar with MLS.

I’m a season ticket holder and have slowly transitioned into being a fan over the years as it has progressed from being totally unwatchable to (now) getting to a place where it’s a respectable level. It’s not far off from the championship level wise….there are many MLS teams that would actually whoop teams like hull and lower tier championship teams.

that said I would not argue it would be a downgrade had that move materialized. But there would have been many benefits one being that the team would very likely have been centered around him (since Colorado sucks esp their forward line) and I can give you a hefty list of young players coming to the MLS and are moving to bigger leagues/developing well here.

my point is…..MLS is closer to the championship level wise than it is PGPL, Qatar, China, etc.

      Team Meli Iran
      Perspolis FC
      Malavan Bandar Anzali

the rapids are literally the worst franchise in the whole league...theyre awful and considering he is on a solid championship side getting good mins whenever hes been fit, this move can only be seen as a pathetic failure. He needs an environment with a high level of competition and proper coaching to fix the flaws in his game...not the opposite.

The guys mentality to even have considered such a move at his age should really be called into question.

There are teams in the MLS that are on the same level or better than Hull city.

            Rapids aren't one of them.

I wouldn't say this an awful move for a player in Saman's situation, but our best young prospect going from one the most heavily scouted leagues to a trash team like the rapids is very bad.

man... Only if he went to Anderlecht instead of Hull city.

MLS is not a good league. Justin Meram, who a few years ago was considered a "good" MLS player, and starter, came in off the bench for the Iraqi NT

Frankly I think Sepahan or PP would beat a team like the Portland Timbers, Atlanta United or the New England Revs

Food is fuel, and if he is not getting the right fuel, his body will break down when it's tested (as it would be in the Championship)
When one looks at his physique and hustle, the idea that he is not training hard enough is hard to believe. And the food he eats is quite unlikely to affect his proneness to injury at this age...that stuff may correlate to career length but not injury at an early age of 21-22. So of the three theories you raise, training regimen is the most likely problem...he was not getting so many problems when in Ukraine, was he? It could also be that his muscles are too bulky for his tendons... meaning his body cannot cope with his strength.

Bingo. Again, simple decisions like this make a huge difference in one's career.

I am by no way a fan of MLS. However Meram is a better striker than any of the Iraqi’s on those teams. Him being a Chaldyan, had a lot to dowith the fact he wasn’t getting playing time on those teams.

ffs Hull been blowin smoke up our asses about his quality and tooting his horn trying hard to find another sucker English team to take him off their hand since the first day he arrived at the club..!!
told ya, yea he is still young and has some potential to maybe some day grow into a decent attacker ... !! but for time being he is being vastly overrated by iroonie fans and Hull organization alike...!!
perhaps if he took his head outa his ass once in a while to see the bigger picture on the pitch and learned a more clever approach to the goal than sarpayeeni o sagdoei o direct kalekhari physicality , then there would indeed something there for us to get excited about..!
but the overly hasty, way too direct and physical playing habit of him is a career-ending injury waiting to happen in the english Championship (a league known for kickNrush and rough in your face "supposedly getting stuck-in" play..!!

The fact that he's been a shadow of his old explosive playing self since returning from his initial injury set-back and then aggravating the same earlier knock after coming back and going back on the injury reserve list, and the fact that Hull regardless of all their window dressing and desperation to offload him to any team that would have him (supposedly a lousy MLS team like Colorado Rapid being the only team showing slightest bit of interest in signing him ..!) should all be a Big Tell that he may well be crooked for good..!!?

and yea, i dont think his personal fitness regime is to blame his for his bad luck seeming serious career threatening injury ?? The fact that he seemed to take his career serious and always looked in phenomenal physical shape Was for me indeed the most promising thing about his footballing potential ....!! its just that he is still young and tried to go it often mano a mano battling a bunch no talent roughnecks in the Championship... and that so playing Two games a freaking week (just not enough time for proper bodily recovery, especially when playing as such..!)
be ghole Lawrence of Arabia ... "it was Written"...
bound to happen sooner than later..!!

                      ps
sitting on the sidelines a few months and allowing his body enough recovery time ... is'nt all that bad of thing at such early juncture of his young career..!.!!
i think it may well do his future prospects ,,,some good ..!!?

I don't even know how many forwards and wingers Hull City has bought this transfer window ... I seriously doubt Allahyar makes the bench even when he is healthy.

With all of the talk of financial regulations to uphold seems their model this window could be getting in loans and free signings and then trying to offload some players than can get some money for.

Allahyar wasn’t in training today so will miss out on weekends game. Boss says he is close, could be they are not taking the risk by bringing him back to earlier or want to make sure he is fit if a move does materialise.
