I don't think he'll start but he may have earned himself a substitute appearance, especially with Ivanusec's injury. He has to continue to build on his good cameo appearances.

He always looks better coming on as a sub to be honest. Later in games, defenders a bit more tired so he gets that extra bit of space to play his crosses, through passes, and take shots. Its not necessarily a bad role especially if its used for big games and earlier, like in 65-70th minute

His goal only came about because he was completely unmarked at the far post against a team defending with 9 men. Most games where he shines are either low tempo or against weaker opposition (with a few exceptions here and there). He rarely makes any significant impact as a starter and that's probably because his fundamentals as a winger are not there, aka: speed, dribbling, first touch. Unfortunately, most fresh-legged high quality defenders and wingbacks can zone him out or force him off the ball. What he does have is a good shot and a decent cross.

The main issue with playing him for TM is that he slows the game down...he can't move the ball fast enough and is not strong enough to hold the ball for build up play. I'd far rather have Gholizadeh starting over him.

To me, a dream player would be someone like Mitoma. Fast, skilled with the ball at his feet and able to carve through backlines like no ones business. We're unfortunately going to get whacked pretty hard in AFC cup if we ever play against Japan

except that im not so sure Gholi is gonna make a huge difference over him either.... but he sure has much more pace and dribbling technique but his vision is badly lacking and too much of ball hog... he just run himself outa bounds or into the CBs..! and who knows if he can make a full recovery from ACL tear and actually reach his WC22 fitness levels or anything near it by AC..?
