Well fuck. Alireza's 17 year old replacement tied the match.

Ball was put on a platter for him in the box.

They seem to struggle to create chances.

            watched the first half only
he played pretty decent but the end product was lacking with him ..! Paxio was a lot worse overall and more deserving of being benched.!

it aint that Ali isnt good enough to be a regular starter for this club, it's just that he aint quiet living up to his billings there ..!

Kokcu's solid presence in central areas of the pitch was sorely being missed for Fey, so they failed to dictate the tempo and possession as well as last season..! they need to find a replacement for him before window closes or doubtful they can make it outa of UCL groups...unless they get super lucky with a weak draw..!

Feyenoord signed another Winger/AM hybrid. Czech international Ondrej Lingr. Also Ivanusec in Rotterdam doing a physical.

With all this and being subbed out at half time last match despite not doing anything particularly wrong, it really seems to be over for him.

He'll work his way back in. Most of these players they've signed aren't really good.

I was surprised he even got decent playing time till now. To be frank, partly because Ivanusec, Idrissi/Sinisterra hadn't signed yet.

AZ just sold Karlsson, who knows maybe they'll go for ali.

I doubt it (although I hope I'm wrong because I was looking forward to watching play him in person).

I agree that most of these new guys aren't that good, but it's Alireza's third season, he played the least amount of minutes of all healthy wingers, he's already been leap frogged by Paixao who was supposed to be a long term project. Whatever Alireza had to show, he's shown at this point. If the club is not sold on him, they won't be in his third season.

The fact that they've brought in three players this off season which play or can play in his position, given playing time to a 17 year old kid, and are in the race to land Idrissi, tells me that it's basically over for him.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: JB Is advised by Mahdavikia. His style is to stick around, put in decent performances until the coach changes his mind and/or gets fired. Same thing happened to Mahdavikia and Tomas Doll.

what better option than above does he have anyways..!!??

any move from Fey will all but likely to be a demotion in pay and status of the club and almost a certainty of missing out on UCL ..!!

                        ps

So i gather they are trying to bring back Idrissi ??:/
that'd definitely cut Ali's game minutes as he'd lock down LW for himself and leaves Ali competing to get scrub minutes down R n CAM...! the new wingers will take them some time to get worked in the system of play and truly be able to unseat Ali for minutes..? i suppose timing depend on their qualities and adaptabilities ..?
that one other kid scezmansky spell?? was a pretty good younger player too that gave em a lot more teeth in 8/10 position, they shoulda gotten a hold of him too going into UCL..!

I think they're going to get smacked in the CL - with minimal minutes from JB. Tide will turn then.
With or without JB they're not good enough for the CL. At best a 3rd place finish.

He did the same in Brighton and ended up being mostly a waste of time, I hope this situation will be different

yea, in all probability that's the most likely scenario..!
but if they get a decent replacement CM for Kokcu b4 window close, and if they get a semi favorable draw then they stand a chance of possibly squeaking thru group stage..!!?at a very least qualify to Europa cup ..!?
i do rate Kachal as a sensible and capable coach who knows how to maximise the potential of his overall pretty avg. squad ..!

i've never rated Ali as a reliable performer in Big games vs Quality opponents...! so i dont figure him to do anything eyebrow raising nor even noteworthy in marquee matchups vs more elite clubs of EU..! That is if he even afforded a fair chance of doing so..!?

Agree on most of it but last year he was better in the big games!
