But I think the Combination of his pride "I'm not gonna give up", the decent paycheck, and the champions league will mean he's unlikely to leave this season, even if he just gets 300-400 mins

How am I devoid of logic? Please explain in logical terms instead of insulting. Alireza is a very nice, pleasant, baadab individual. But his football has been in steady decline. He's been ok for Feynoord for whom he is now being benched. For TM, he has been almost atrocious at times- in the WC he was on the poor side, even with a subpar performing squad. He rarely looks confident on the ball and against tough opposition, he is simply not that good. Again, nuance is not a strong trait for us Persians, is it? Do you really think he should have a permanent spot in TM right now, even without minutes??!

You're not wrong, Mohebi and Gholizadeh have shown up for team melli far more in recent times. They should be starters. If he wants to be better he needs to figure it out. I think he can't be a winger anymore, but he can be a good CM
