"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

Further to this, this is what I can recall:

Ali Daei - 2 goals versus Chelsea in Champions League 1999/2000
Javad Nekounam - master performance versus Glasgow Rangers in 2007 UEFA cup
Mehdi Taremi - goal versus Liverpool; - Champions League 2021/22
goal versus Chelsea - champions league 2020/21
Azmoun - goal versus Chelsea - Champions League 2021-22
Karim Ansarifard - Goal versus Man United (his team lost) - Europa League 2022/23
Alireza Jahanbakhsh - Goal versus Celtic - Champions League 2023/24

So I suppose my statement isn't true, but at least with an Iranian you'll score some goals.

When JB was subbed in for the youngster Igor Paixao, Paixao was distraught and hanging his head. JB yelled at him to keep his chin up.

This is in relation to someone who has taken JB's spot on the team. JB shows no ill will and acts like a true leader. How can you not love this guy? I'm actually excited at his prospects for coaching (if he decides to take that route).
He could be a great coach. He also seems very intelligent and speaks at least 3 languages fluently (can't remember if he speaks Talyshi) - he could easily be an executive in a massive club or federation.

Later in games, defenders a bit more tired so he gets that extra bit of space to play his crosses, through passes, and take shots. Its not necessarily a bad role especially if its used for big games and earlier, like in 65-70th minute
He should have the same role in Team Melli as a supersub behind Torabi

                  I'm still buzzing for him

No one can ever take away the fact that he's a champions league goalscorer

                    Beiro was excellent though.
But yes fair enough. We could say for outfield players.
