With this game, Eva might have cemented his starting spot moving forward, so this is good news overall for Mehdi.

watched the second half. He was phenomenal. Lovely assists, second one especially was very difficult to execute and he made it look effortless.
Had some excellent runs that would have put him through 1v1 with the gk but unfortunately his teammates lack the iQ and technique to see/pick out 90% of passes.

Taremi was excellent. He drew so many fouls. Assisted 2 goals and probably should have had a third assist. Worked extremely hard, running back to defend in their own box. His bum teammates couldn’t give him a single healthy pass in a forward position and he was getting upset.
His heat map must be all over the left side and middle.

I liked the first more because he then nutmeged the defender before passing square to Evalinson.
Watch as Evalinson will be sold for a ton of money but Mehdi walks out for nothing.

"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh
