Taremi injured before the reception of FC Porto to Arsenal
Mehdi Taremi is the latest "client" from the medical department of FC Porto. The Iranian striker, who was not used in the (2-0) victory against Amadora's Star, suffered an injury to the right thigh adductor in training on Sunday, the club said on the official website.
Taremi performed only treatment, as well as Gonçalo Ribeiro, Marcano and Zaidu.
The dragons prepare the reception to Arsenal, the first leg of the eighth of the Champions League final, scheduled for 8:00 on Wednesday.

Had he started and struggled performing up to par with Porto losing at home, both SC and Mehdi woulda been in heaps of trouble with majority of their fan base who still want mehdi benched permanently &or used very sparingly till the end season..!! the nature of the injury (Abductor strain) sorta suggest above scenario ?? it's one of those things that often keeps players off the pitch for not much longer than a game or 2 ...!!?
