Milan and Mehdi Taremi are further away. Yesterday's difficulties between the two clubs, with Porto having changed the economic conditions relating to the agreement between the clubs, had been overcome but it is those with the agents and intermediaries of the operation that are leading the negotiation towards the dead end. Jorge Mendes, Alireza Nikoomanesh and Pedro Pinto of Empower Sport have made very high financial demands for their commissions. Basically, everyone wanted to dip their spoon into the jam. This sudden change in the situation, one step away from closing the deal, has greatly irritated Milan, who continue to work to understand if there is a way to please Pioli. If this doesn't happen within a few hours, Milan would find themselves forced to block Lorenzo Colombo's move to Monza. The profile of Luka Jovic of Fiorentina and that of Duvan Zapata of Atalanta, at the moment, do not appear to be objectives of the Rossoneri managers, who will however try to see if they find any interesting opportunities on the market to further strengthen Milan's offensive department. Most accurate update from what I gather. Nothing to do with his salary, asian cup, or any other BS you read. And I frankly doubt his personal agent who manages nobody of taremi's level will pass on whatever his cut of the deal was now and fuck mehdi over. Mendes and Pinto are the cabal, you only leave porto with their blessing. Here, it seems like they think they can extract more of milan in commissions bc the deal is being done so late and milan have no time to actually get another quality CF (that player's team would need to find replacement, etc).

Deal isnt dead yet since all other things are basically agreed.

Honestly it's dead. They isn't much time for the deal to get done and Taremi to fly to milan to do the medicals before midnight

If it doesn't happen, Mehdi should refuse to play for Porto. Sure, he has a contract, but f*** them. Porto will be a dumpster fire this season that will surely affect Mehdi's stats and valuation (and already has 3 games in). Then he can sign a pre contract in January with any interested club (sure Milan would still be interested).

Porto is such a disgusting slimy club

Whatever happened to 3M annually plus 1M in bonuses? They are paying Pulisic and Loftus Cheeks over 5M each. Looks like Taremi has been marked as a player they can take advantage of. I guess the conclusion is that everything that we have read so far is total BS and we will find out in a couple of days if there ever were any offers. 1.5M should have been a non-starter.

Apparently Moretto (a good source) said live on twitch just now for the second time they the deal is fully off. It’s over

Let this be a reminder for people who think corruption, greed, dalal-bazi is an exclusively an Iranian football phenomenon.

Looks like Milan has finalized the deal to loan out Colombo. They weren't planning to do this if they didn't sign another striker.
