"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

Do they need to scout him during the next 5 years?

I am sorry, I watched that red card play over and over again, and there is no way he should’ve been given a red card. He clearly got ball initially. I can understand the yellow, for the aftermath after the first touch, but definitely not a red.

The question is if it is a foul or not to have it lead to a red card. If it's a foul, it's denying an obvious goal scoring opportunity = DOGSO.

It is a foul because of the second motion. He got the ball first then his leg came up so high as a secondary motion that it obstructed the path of the attacker. So it's a foul and therefore a red card

The second one was a foul but NOT DOGSO because there was a defender that was parallel to the attacker when he got fouled. So that creates major doubt that it was an obvious goal scoring opportunity, and is a yellow for stopping a promising attack = SPA

Watching a game on TV is different than in stadium.
In stadium you can monitor every single move of your player without ball!

                indeed
and what really makes him such a standout complete footballer is that 90% of the time on the pitch he is always in the thick of the action... !! that's big reason why his Xg stats are off the chart..!
he's almost never lost in scheme of the play whether attacking or defending ..!!
lets face it, he aint all that of clinical finisher, nor a great dribbler, not particularly fast nor even a standout shooter/header of the ball, but he more than make up for his slight shortcomings by being super intelligent player who knows how to position himself brilliantly and effectively (weather defensively or offensively) being unselfish and hard working team player, being physically strong and super durable and in excellent fitness and form on a consistent basis...!!
a good scout can only get a full appreciation for his true quality by keeping an eye on his for the full 90, especially in a game like yesterday where he wasnt afforded but a few half chances to show his attacking prowess, or shine individually with goals/assists primarily due to a scrub supporting cast this season at Porto..!

Taremi isn't a clinical finisher? He has a great first touch, and makes volleys across the box look like easy strikes.

Agree with everything else you said, though.

his finishing is certainly anything but Clinical..!! he has improved vastly in europe on that front but still misses way too many golden chances ...!
and yea his shooting technique is not really refined and consistently reliable....! although from time to time he has a penchant for connecting well with the ball and scoring goalasssoz ..!!

his rather impressive scorer figures mostly is a result of his versatility, footballing intellect, physical prowess, excellent positioning and possessing the engine and durability to consistently play 90min game in , game out ..! (not to mention the luxury of having a head coach who favors him above all other players in his squad..! )

so in short, he plays so, soooooo many game minutes and he is such an Always Involved clever Player that the statistics naturally favor him amassing impressively high Scorer's point and Xg Stats ....!

He has tremendous ball control. He is 187cm long and the ball is almost always glued to his feet. His dribbling is basic but effective. This is a big reason why he gets fouled so often. He is not the best dribbler in the world but he is good on one on ones. The thing is sometimes its not that good to be a dribble past your opponents. It impairs vision and the cohesion of the team. Sometimes its better with solid fundamentals. Taremi in this regard never fucks up. He goes for the most effective solution.

Compare this to that moron of a player Luis Diaz. He sub optimizes the effectiveness of every team he is in. These kind of players beat their man, find creative and effective solutions against their own defenders but then put the team cohesion and effectiveness in shambles. Diaby is an even more extreme example of these kind of players. They often try to solve everything themselves, they accelerate when they need to have an even pace, they slow down the play when they need to gear up. Result is always some kiri shot against goal, no one there to recieve their service because nobody knows what they are up to and far away from connecting etc.

one of the reasons why the fans in the stadium love him and their twitter warriors flip flop so much when he isn't scoring.

His movement off the ball is so awkward for the opposing team

It’s probably better Mehdi doesn’t go to a farmer’s league like the EPL any more.

                              ^ I'm actually happy he didn't go to Man U. They're a dumpster fire.
