What have other Asian players done as consistently and at a level like the Champions league?
Fine, he is garbage. He should be lucky to play Maldives Mahallat Selectional.

Between 2006 and 2011 he played 10 games for bolton. 10 games over 5 seasons!
In Wigan where he played most of his PL games he was the starter from 2011-2013, then got dropped. Wigan got relegated in 2013 so he spent two years in the Championship.
For a majority of his career he was not against RVP, Rooney etc he was up against African pace merchant rejects or English hoof merchants in the Championship.
From 2015-2018, Reading spent their entire time in the Championship.

He is still the most successful Asian goalkeeper in Europe but playing in CL and producing is much higher a level than whatever Al Habsi had to do.

And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

Anyways, for me Taremi is not even best Iranian. Mahdavikia is the one. And Nokhodi jan, MT doesn’t have to be last, he is maybe no. 3 for me (of the players I watched in my life.)

Certainly better than anything Iran has sent to Championship or PL. Our legend, Ando, who according to many was great fit for English game, had a one good month in 4 years there!

Taremi got the golden boot in his league which is a genuine accomplishment. He also scored against UCL level opposition and faced regularly.
Sure Al Habsi got a lot of action playing for the relegation level teams he was in which makes a goalkeeper look good, the way if you put Taremi in a chance machine like Man City he would look great but trash in Man Utd.
Playing in the EPL is tough for our players and Ghoddos is just pulling it off.
You can note that only Japanese/South Korean/Australian players do well in EPL from Asia.
Only North African Arabs do well and none of the Middle East Arab nations had players that got close.
Saudi had one guy who apparently went and trialed with an EPL team and got so banged up he cried and went back to Saudi.
One can measure success in other leagues too and CL success means something. Not everything needs to be EPL.

The weird thing is that all three of them became cult figures at their clubs, whereas bichareh Taremi is being destroyed by all of their fans apart from the ones who attend the stadium

True - the Brentford fans are singing Samans praises because of his defensive contribution, utility and work rate, whereas I don't think a single Porto fan knows that Taremi has amongst the best defensive stats in the champions league (more successful tackles than João Cancelo) and contributes so much to their team all over the pitch
It may be harsh, but the ones on the internet are kinda football illiterate
