At some point you compromise...he is almost 32 so he needs this deal to go through. If it falls through then no big club aside from mid table ones will be interested in him next season, unless he takes major pay cut

i dont know..!!? i suppose he could be demanding such high figure$ salary as a Free Agent but only if there were a lot more buzz and interest towards his capture by more $eriously rich/ more elite EU clubs ..!! But so far Inter have been just about the only side who have shown serious interest in his capture..!
At The Moment, He Certainly aint all that Marketable to be demanding such high figure salaries from a clubs like Inter.!
but sure it may well be a good $figure starting point for more serious negotiations to follow next..!!
imo, anything figure between 3-4mil from a club caliber of Inter would be a Win for both side..!!
nonetheless, if the news legit ..?
then we would have to also assume that there may well have been inquiries/offers for his services from other previously rumored or unmentioned suitor clubs... i know Atletico was one ... !! but dont see them outbiding Inter...!!
but i can surely see a club such as PSG on verge of losing embappe would offer such high salaries to lure him away from an almost completed transfer to Inter..?? or possibly a top 10 EPL club..?

anyways.... lets just cross figures he doesnt insert too many agents into next negotiation or drag out the transfer drama for months like the last summer and end up pissing off the interested decent EU clubs all together and ultimately wind up in SA next..!! :/
