I read in Iranian media that It's SC who decided to exclude Mehdi from the squad totally since he did that Medical Test without Porto's alignment. He also thinks that Mehdi is not showing commitment and engagement to the club in the training so there is a risk that he will be sidelined the rest of the season.

What do you mean? Bazi Qatar yadet rafte? Maybe the all-time tokhmiest individual TM performances I’ve seen with my eyes. You really have doubts he’s having tokhmi attitude in Porto trainings too? Dastboosi chiye mard? How about earn your god damn paycheck? Iranian are masters of lazy attitudes. Oonam Sardare gambu… only Gohemorghi has a bigger stomach.

Lets be real Porto doesn't care at all lol. They've done everything possible to screw Taremi over the past 1.5 years despite everything he's done for them. Its just a show. Conceicao loves his players like his own sons.

i still have a hard time believing that SC would be biggest force behind Mehdi's continued benching .? he has been by far n away Mehdi's biggest proponent at the club since arrival... !!
and SC insistence is probably biggest reason why Porto has not cashed in on him in the past couple off seasons.??

i think it's more a mix of mehdi's significant drop in form/fitness this season for obvious reasons and off course pressure from the overly prideful, angry Porto fan-base against a player who has clearly indicated his future lies elsewhere..!

the more recent relative on-pitch success of the club in Mehdi's absence, has further tied SC's hand into keeping Mehdi glued to bench or excluded all together from game squads to appease the angry fan-base...!!
the more they underperform and lose points w/o him, the more porto fans are forced to come to terms with him being a forgone player and become accepting of milking as much service as possible from him b4 gone for good..!

i certainly wouldnt put it passed Mehdi to be holding back and preserving himself physically for next season .... if it were me, i certainly would have, considering ALL, especially how badly Porto fked him over last couple of summer transfer seasons outa much desired transfers to bigger league/clubs..!

Iran_19 Jan, are you sure?

My understanding has always been that players with 6 months left on their contract are free to negotiate and sign with any team for the following season.

SC has been super supportive of MT in the past. I can't see him being bitter here. As a coach, he still wants to win and to do that, you put your best players on the pitch. This must be coming from upper management or ownership. Makes no sense. Hopefully their embarrassing loss yesterday will change that.

Mehdi jan, hala baraye Teame Melli bad bazi kard, bashe... baraye Porto ke khodesho taghriban fada kard.
He has been playing on a small contract and gave the club a very impressive 3 seasons by any measure.
Even this season, his CL goals and performances helped the club make plenty of money.

With a team like Porto, you can't get emotional, they'll try to milk you for everything and then discard you like gristle.

He has every right to negotiate and sign with Inter. Damesh garm. He was advised well for once.
