His issue is he can not be injury free for so long, otherwise as it was said he was already playing in top 4/5 leagues in Europe!

Exactly - this guy will be more effective against the likes of Qatar and Jordan than Moghanloo ever will be.

Its not about hin, its about TM in total ignoring iranians outside of Iran, when did anyone care about iranians in europe ? In the last 20 years who was invited exeptmof dejagah( very late) , zandi, davari, ghoddos ...... they just dont care.

Don’t see the issue plenty of national teams have players with one grandparent . Look at Ireland wales and Scotland they’re loaded with players who just have one grandparent from that country and let’s not forget Indonesia and Syria and Palestine all loaded with players with one grandparent from that nation. All we need is legal proof his grandparent was born in Iran and we are good to go

Have there been any good legionaries that could actually improve us in the last 10 years or so? I don’t see it . Eckert brings something new to the table imo the football federation put the effort in for ghoddos I don’t see why they wouldn’t for Eckert

How do you know it when you don't try them ? I mean Ehsan Hajsafi, a player of our NT with over 100 caps his highest was playing at FSV Frankfurt in 2 German Bundesliga and he was benchwarmer there, and we can't try young Iranians in Europe ?

And okay, let's say many or even all wouldn't have helped TM, but why do you invite Dejagah with 27-28-29 when he was a top star already as 20 years old ?

We today have several players in Europe who have to be tested, Pichkhah, Eckert, Rostami ......., you can also try youngsters in our u16-17-18 ... doesn't need to be in our A team

I would love to meet the current generation of hardcore TM fans at the next world cup.

Love the passion - my feeling is the same as what I said with Ryan Tafazolli when his threads were on 40 pages, there is literally no chance this guy will play for TM

Apart from the Queiroz era of invitees (Dejagha, Gucci, Ghoddos, Beitashour, Davari, Nazari) the only other player of note foreign-born was - Zandi, now he was half-Iranian but the key was that his dad was proper into football and TM and travelled to Iran regularly and both Zandi and his dad were willing to do some of the other stuff which is part and parcel with being a footballer under IR Iran - from kissing the Quran (which even Ando did) to meeting leader etc...

Dennis is quarter iranian, his father doesn't even have an iranian passport. It's just so far away from where Zandi was, let alone the six which Queiroz brought in.... And this is with the current political situation, and Ghaleneoi who only played Ghoddos because he saw him against Man City

Tafazoli never scored against top level Europa league opposition. Lots of players played this Asian cup who were only a quarter of said nation . Look at indonesias team - how is their circumstance any different to ours
