That he may play in a World Cup.
    That's enough for most people.

Does anyone have contacts within IFF?
well that sounds super promising! It’s good the Iranian media keeps talking about him….the more they do, the more pressure on IFF/GN to get this done. He needs to be capped ASAP before it’s too late

Well from experience we know Dejagah rejected Ghotbi and finally came for CQ, so I don’t believe its this simple.

Dejagah was in the running for the German national team and would have made it, if he hadn’t refused to travel to Israel.

Point is, there’s more to this than typing his name in a computer and expecting him to just show up like its the first day of koodakestan.

That would be so awesome if he joins team Melli. What do you guys think are the chances he joins a camp before 2024?

yea, that was definitely the most promising tid-bit ive read so far about his prospects of joining TM..!!

                ps
like i said b4 i dont think IFF will pursue his services aggressively just yet..!!? he has to keep a good scoring league form for a bit longer and definitely the big push will most probably come if he performs well in Europa league games ...especially vs Lpool..!

I will reach out to him in a week.

I see a lot of other communities online push for players to join their national team. Only Iranians are dissuasive, unpatriotic and debbie downers.

Talking about it alone on this forum will do nothing. Must take action.

I hope it happens. We need a three headed monster at the striker/forward position with Mehdi Taremi, Sardar Azmoun and Dennis Eckert.

Of course, but I think what really swung this in our favor is what Saman Ghodoos said about his discussions with Behrang Safari.

Behrang told Ghodoos that he regretted selecting the Swedish national team as he felt he was scapegoated too many times by fans and media.
When these guys who grow up in North/West Europe hear something like that, it goes a long way in their decision making. No one wants to play somewhere that they're not appreciated.

Because it allows for more options. Taremi is getting old, he's not gonna be our sweet man scoring goals for much longer. That badbakht only has 1-2 seasons at the top left before his knees catch up to him because of how much everyone demands of him. Having 2 excellent strikers in Eckert and Azmoun will give us more assurance.

As usual, some popular IG channels picking up (word for word) what I tweeted.

                        Good. Let's spread the word.

I don’t think this matters in Dennis’ case. He has European name/appearance and probably less exposure to Iranian culture than Safari/Ghoddos. It would actually be opposite for him, he would stick out on TM and if he does something wrong fans would go after coach for playing a Europeaninstead of an Iranian from our amazing league. Fans like our Sepehr9. Remember him?
