Good game and good win for Persepolis, one of the better games I have seen from them in a while. We controlled the game well and created a few pretty decent chances throughout the game while not allowing much for a strong Al Duhail side.

The larger issue still remains though….we do not create enough chances and do not have enough talent/depth up front to reliably put them away in a regular basis. This team needs at least 2 good attacking midfielders and 2 good forwards to make a run in both the ACL and to control the title race in league play.

Actually impressed by PP passing. Not sure how strong the opponent was really, as they seemed a bit disinterested in chasing any balls. But credit to PP. The passing looked good. Mid-field seemed solid. If problems in the final 1/3 are addressed, PP would actually be pretty good and can go far.
