With a GD like this, there is a chance sepahan finish 1st in group. If they beat Ittihad. Rn they have a better gd than them

      Hosseinnejad 9.3 rating. 2 goals 1 assist

Chances of Al Ittihad and Sepahan ending up with the same nr of points is not that high. However, if that miraculously happens Al Ittihad will end up above Sepahan unless Sepahan beats them with a 3 goal difference.

This was a great moral boost for Sepahan. Now they have to make sure to beat Al Ittihad in Saudi Arabia which I think is very possible with this team.

Right. I forgot that sometimes head to head matters more than goal difference

Am I correct in saying no way sepahan and perspolis qualify as 2nd together?

Nassaji have nightmares of Oston Urunov

Watching the highlights now, ramin was furious at hosseinnejad for not passing to him on his first goal. Once he saw the ball hit the defender, he turned his back and started smacking the ground. I wonder what he was thinking when he realized it went it

If those other goals weren’t offside, final score would have been 12-0. Bruh

                    They can, but it's unlikely.
a couple of other teams need to choke hard for it to happen

Al Ittihad got lucky they didnt play in Naghshe Jahan in that atmosphere. Sepahan could have got a result against them. Big confidence boost win today for Sepahan.

Well yes they can : So lets say PP win tommo game then the table is gonna be like this after 4 games:

                        Navbahor - 10 Points
                        Perspolis - 9 Points
                        Sepahan - 7 Points

If it stays like that then both teams will qualify as 2nd team. Nassaji gifting 6 points to navbahor is just embarrassing.

I would not call it embarrassing. Navbahor is a bigger club with better players and resources. They have national team players, consistently finish top 3 in Uzbekistan, and have AFC experience.

The fact that Nassaji even got a win in this competition is a big achievement for a club which normally would be happy with a top half PGPL finish.

I agree with Milad, it was embarrasing. Sanat Naft or Esteghlal Khuzestan could finish top 3 in Uzbekistan league.
                            Esteghlal 💙💙

I love Nassaji but smaller teams getting the pass to ACL will most likely choke due to lack of experience!
That is why i preferred tractor, even Foolad despite loving Nassaji!

Tractor shoke at every ACL they play. Foolad is more reliable
