The results in ACL doesn't matter much. We badly need our teams to play the star KSA teams, even if lose 7/0 against them. Better to get trashed in ACL and several time there, than at WC against England. We don't have such quality games else where.

Sepahan is in pot 2 with a ksa team without star.

Nassaji is in pot 3

Al nassr is in pot 4.

6 groups in total. If PP or Nassaji take the ksa team of pot 2, no al nassr for both team, nor al hilal and al Ittifag for Nassaji.

They are easily among the 7-8 best teams in PGPL and the fact that a PGPL team couldn’t beat an AMATEUR emarati team at home in a packed stadium says everything you need to know about the state and level of PGPL. Emirates league is absolutely an amateur level league…..this is one of the most embarrassing losses for an Iranian team in some time.

Pjanic, ousmane or Caio aren't amateur players. Iranian teams both clubs and TM are used to get scored by stars from the stars of opponent teams.
The rest are slightly behind Iranian quality but sometimes they step up the level like the gk becoming Buffon.

TS completely changed their defense and GK for the worse. It can be enough to beat bottom league teams later but not Sepahan, PP and ACL play off this early.
They also change their attack with a completely washed up Hosseinzadeh and absolutely no striker. There was absolutely nobody in front today to just have a presence in the box.
The midfield was ok, specially during their momentum when defense stop their sootis (until Sharjah 2nd goal)

Sharjah has a squad value of 40mil. Where as TT is valued at only 10mil. Simple math would suggest that Sharjah is 4x better.
