The rest are slightly behind Iranian quality but sometimes they step up the level like the gk becoming Buffon.

TS completely changed their defense and GK for the worse. It can be enough to beat bottom league teams later but not Sepahan, PP and ACL play off this early.
They also change their attack with a completely washed up Hosseinzadeh and absolutely no striker. There was absolutely nobody in front today to just have a presence in the box.
The midfield was ok, specially during their momentum when defense stop their sootis (until Sharjah 2nd goal)
they all didn’t look special at all, they got 1 lucky penalty and TS had defensive brain farts that lead to their goals…..and yes, besides those guys the rest of their players are amateurs. Pls acknowledge the embarrassment and don’t bring BS excuses….TS should never lose at home to an amateur team, period.
    Team Meli Iran
    Perspolis FC
    Malavan Bandar Anzali

Pjanic corners were all very well taken, not surprising they scored on one of them. Caio technique did the rest for the second and third goals. Without them regular Emiratis couldn't have created such chance and scored the goal.
Not saying they are messi prime but quality enough to beat a dysfunctional TS

I couldn't believe the defensive errors. Looked like something you'd see from a USL2 or college team in the US. And Tractor's GK might be one of the worst I have seen in Iran. Reminded me of Mirzapour

We badly need our defensive sootis to be punished quick and hard so our dumb players start to use their dead brain a little bit.. We need that regularly and in Asia and local scale, not once at the WC in front of the world with plenty excuses (it was England, Beiro injured, protests..).

Lack of competitive games is what killed our football and prevent us our lazy football to improve much faster. IPL don't punish enough sootis

Yesterday Sharjah could have scored much more on our defensive errors but didn't..

Goa fc complained about Persepolis’s stupid social media post a few years ago. Now the punishment came out. no fans for Persepolis’s first home ACL game. Authorities in Iran were very happy!

What did Persepolis fans do on social media?
"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

It wasn't the fans. It was Persepolis' social media manager (2 or 3 years ago). He wrote something that I can't recall but was borderline ignorant/racist.
They fired him but damage was done.

LOL. Iranians running their mouths being racist?
                    Why am I not surprised?

They are easily among the 7-8 best teams in PGPL and the fact that a PGPL team couldn’t beat an AMATEUR emarati team at home in a packed stadium says everything you need to know about the state and level of PGPL. Emirates league is absolutely an amateur level league…..this is one of the most embarrassing losses for an Iranian team in some time.
Traktor Sazi never presented Iran well in AFC CL. Even the likes of Foolad or Naft Tehran did a much better job. Traktor pretend to be a big club but they ain't.

Sepahan with Al ittihad (benzema kante fabinho)

PP with Al Nassr (cr7, mané, fofano, Brozovic, laporte..)

Nassaji with Al Hilal (Neymar, neves, Coulibaly, malcom, mitrovic, bono)

Sepahan are so lucky. They got the easiest group.

Perspolis is going to have a very. difficult time with AL-Nassr and al-duhail

Loool at poor Nassaji. IT will be competition between them and Mumbai for which team breaks the record for the biggest defeat in the AFC group stage (against Al-hilal)

I want to buy tickets so much lol

PP - Al Nassr 28 Shahrivar (19 sept), certainly with empty stadium
