Sure I agree to keep politics out of it but there should be a clear line, not "keep politics out for them" keep it in for us.

Al Qadsiya should not be a team name either.

I barley ever discuss politics because is A very sensitive
Thing, that could hurt other people's feelings and turn friends in to enemies . We saw that here during the mahsa protests it turned long time friends against each others, people doing cheap shots towards each other and pfdc really has not recovered yet from that hurricane.
And 2nd I don't have the proper education to do so either...
but on this subject since is soccer related I don't mined this discussion.

I have question before we continue.

        What are we discussing?
        Ksa hypocrisy?
        Iran gov hypocrisy?
        Afc hypocrisy?
        Teams names?
Difference between elected official pictures recognize by u.nnon elected official pictures not recognized by un?
        OR
        ALL OF ABOVE🤣?

Mohammed Bin Salman himself is a war criminal, committed the worst genocide in modern history in Yemen that the country still hasn't recovered from, and there's still ongoing famine, overall a situation just as bad if not worse than what Putin did to Ukraine. This is all not including their government's well documented role in 9/11, which still isn't fully investigated and acid washed because of their strong arm corrupt influence over the US gov. Instead of being banned from football, Saudi is sanitized and given lucrative contracts and their stars come because of the disgusting amount of money they receive. The takeaway point is, if they want to politicize football and sanction other countries for political intermixing with some murkey and suspect standard to apply around the world, their Crown Prince would be never allowed to step into a football stadium ever and further, by that definition, like Russia, they should be barred from AFC and their flag should be censored globally

I logged on to PFDC just so I can read comments about why the match between Sepahan and Al Ittihad got postponed. Before doing so I YouTube’d it and watched photos of a fucking statue built of Soleimani, and placed right at the entrance of the players’ walkout tunnel.

I honestly don’t understand how stupid a club must be, to allow and include presenting a statue of a political figure in a football match, which has absolutely NOTHING to do with football. And not only that, they present this asshole’s statue in a continental tournament. As if it’s even relevant to Sepahan.

Back to PP-Al Doheil game, I must admit this game was one of the best football I have seen for a very very long time a Iranian team played on international level. On of the contributing factor is the pitch. That was just beautiful. The ball moved so smoothly and it seemed to easy to play football for a team like PP who have technical skilled players.

Dameshon garm. Khak to sareshon, not a single good stadium with such grass in Iran. How is that even possible when we have much better weather than Qatar, UAE and KSA.

Sporting events used for political propaganda is nothing new. It's common practice in USA and Canada to have military, police, etc.. parades before the match.

I'm not saying what Sepahan is doing is correct, but there seems to be a double standard.

Also just saw a rumour that the objection wasn't just to the statue, but also banner/flags of Persian gulf.

And I also can see how al ittihad may have used this as an excuse to escape an L.

But very stupid and unprofessional of Sepahan to allow i.r. officials to meddle with their business. Especially after how much our clubs have been penalized before by AFC.

If that’s the case then al ittihad and whoever complained can go fuck themselves lol.

Good advice bro. I'm still not over this game 😂 Woke up early on a few hours sleep with so much anticipation to have it delayed so long, then went to work/school basically a zombie.. thank God PP won. And it's kind of a bummer Iran and Saudi will never play in each others country for a long time prob. Way better and more fun rivalry than Qatari or UAE teams and it got robbed from us over a metal statue

Imagine how the Sepahan fans felt in the stadium, jesus
