It's shit like that, that makes me think Yahya should never be considered for Team Melli manager
Unless Bahoui wasn't his decision... Then again wtf were PP thinking signing that bum????
IF they go for foreigners, go for the underrated Uzbek or Iraqi players like Ostan Uronov or Ali Jasim or something.
His signings have been atrocious. What has saved him is that his tactics usually aren't bad and he knows how to adjust.
There have always been rumors about the shady transfers Persepolis has had, and add this to another idiot we signed to make some fat agent fatter.
Man we weren't that bad. We tied Al-Nassr at their home. We simply don't have a forward like we have been lucky to have in previous seasons (Taremi, Alipour...).
It wasn't that bad. Now we need to beat Al-Duhail who seem to have gained their form again.
We tied a 10 man team, whose stars besides Otavio underperformed.
We weren't playing Man city. We played a bunch of goatherders and some "stars" on autopilot collecting a cheque.
And I don't think it would make a difference if we had Haaland upfront when our gameplan and midfielders are unable to break down a ten man opposition and play scared.
This isn't the first time either. PP has struggled many times this season to create anything offensivly even against weak teams.
Today we just kept going to the wings, got stuck, and then recycled the ball to the opposite wing until we turned over the ball.
Going into this season, we knew we couldn't just "run it back". Core players are aging, and the manager is one dimensional. We need at least 4 or 5 new starters. Rafei, Alishah, Esmailifard, Nemati have no business starting in Iran's top team.

These are game situations that need to be practiced, any half decent European/ South American team would do the same thing but they do it QUICKLY and then take on the defender. Our passes today were so underhit you imagine as though our players are impoverished

Agree that we need a rebuild of the team.
Yahya has been very bad on his signings and his constant sulking with the club board isn't helping either.

The al Naser players under performed because
of pp style of play....if we had maganlu upfront 2-0 win...
Hadi Mohammadi's red card was for a push that couldn't knock a leaf over. Idiot.
How many times are Iranian players going to pull that shit.
We nag and complain too much.
I don't know what the solution is as its a decade + long issue that our players think they are constantly in the right and don't just play their game.
We need a Roy Keane/Bagheri like captain to tell them all to shut up or else and intimidate them into submission whenever a ref decision doesn't go their way

Who would be feeding Moughalou though?
Zahedi was moving around a lot trying to find space, but because of our tactics, he was almost always alone in the box.
I solely blame Yahya for being unable to implement a gameplan which utilized 80 minutes of having a man advantage.

100% agree on Bagheri or a Bagheri type.
It’s a shame how he is being boxed out because of his beliefs.
I wish GN would bring him to TM.
