With this side hustle, I doubt he would get new signings..

Alex Samizadeh had huge potential. Rumblings that he was even going to be called up by Bolton's main team at a very young age.

Another Iranian who's off-the-field/non-footballing activities ruined his career? Not surprised.

Good luck to him. He's still young, hopefully he can make it.

What's the Iranian Zidane, Sharu Naraji, up to these days?

I’m sure he did play for the first team. He was knocking them in for fun in the youth teams.
He talks about his failure at Bolton in the first episode, it’s an interesting watch.

Guys wikipedia page is insane. It's written such that you would think he had a legitimate chance of making the WC 2006 TM Squad.

Bolton footballer sues top surgeon for £10m claim that botched operation wrecked career

Sharu Naraji, 27, from Bolton, is suing an American sports injury specialist for at least £10m, claiming negligent surgery prevented him playing for a team in England’s top-flight. Mr Naraji, of Winslow Road, brought his case before London’s High Court, and listened as his lawyer described his vain attempts to return to his former best after the operation in November 2006.
