Best case he sticks it out and goes back to Leverkusen to ride it out with Amo Alonso, who actually gave him more of an opportunity than Mou did. Now that he's in better shape that'll help his case too. He just can't be dealing with an injury bug after every game or no one will see him as reliable.
No coach wants to burn a sub or a starting spot on a player who can't finish out their shift on the pitch
It’s not just about minutes. Look at how much being with Mou morivated Sardar and the kind of shape he’s in now. Hoping he maintains his motivation under new coach and doesn’t go back to Leverkusen fat.
Dige Mourinho az dor oftadeh, ziyaadi tarso shodeh va Roma bedoone chang o dandoon dar meydan kaar mikard.
Vaghtesh bood ekhraaj beshe.
true... he clearly didnt have enough healthy-depth nor quality on defensive side and by contrast the exact Opposite on the offensive front .... yet messe 1 dimensional, kaleh-shagh CQ kept insisting on his same ol cautious approach to every damn game vs every fkn opponent ..! fall behind repeatedly and only then in last minutes resort to a more sensible balanced/attacking approach..!!
also never made sense to me how hesitant he was to play both Azmoun and Dybala @ the same time ?? they clearly complemented each other and gave Roma serious attacking teeth on the few times they were on the pitch together..!!
ps
i believe this sacking decision was looong time coming and jose knew it too.... you could tell all season long from his snide comments in media ....he clearly wasnt happy with the owner's commitment to invest in bringing the quality defensive reinforcements that he so badly desired to play his brand of football, maybe even they lied or kept him in dark regarding club's dire FFP situation..? it was also telling when he knowingly pretty much forced the referee into giving him a red card which sidelined him vs Milan... he knew the writing was on the wall when the club bit earlier sacked his compatriot..!
anyways, as i said earlier kooneh laghesh az oon maa kheire ziadi bara pesaremoon ke nadidim and didnt look like khahim did either..!!
i have a feeling sardar will be afforded more minutes under this new guy... he really cant afford not to ?? especially if as rumored he is planning a 3412 ...! he just have to nick Belloti for a starting spot in the front 2 and also very capable to cover the 10spot if the likely first choice Dybala is crooked ... which is every other game ..!!?

That's classic Mou though, as soon as any inconvenience he starts to become toxic and blame everyone but himself.
His style of coaching isn't sustainable anymore, it worked in the 2000's but not now. When you're constantly asking the players to give their 110% and die for him can only last for so long. As a person you can only sustain flight or fight mode for so long until you burn out and this seems to be a common theme with all his teams (going downhill in the 3rd season). Azmoun only started playing for him, so it makes sense why he started to become fitter and motivated.
Ultimately this type of coaching doesn't work with this generation of players, the same way Gen Z employees have stopped taking shit from their boomer employers.
He would do well in International football though, a more modern version of CQ
