0-0 HT.
Roma offense has been toothless in the first half. Lukaku had two headers at the start and end of the first half, which went wide. For an experienced high price striker, he should have scored at least one of them. The midfield delivery to the strikers has also been poor.
Terrible performance at home against a bottom tier team.
Need to have more fire power up front in the second half. With Dybala out, they have very little options. Sardar is the obvious choice as a sub in the second half.

looks a BOring stalemate so far from a little i seen on n off
narekhar hasnt done much besides couple of close call header misses so far... still he aint the type who'd get subbed off too early in 2nd half and even if so another narekhar in abraham is sitting all eager lookin on bench and raring to come in ..! :/
Roma badly missing Dybala ... that creative attacking force in 10 position.... Honestly Sardar probably stands better chance of filling in for Paulo than Luka and now Abe too in a 1 striker system..?

Nice to see Roma fans fanboying Azmoun like this

Kind of the opposite of the "Taremi should be executed" Porto fans

first touch and hold up was actually very clean in that cameo. Won a couple crucial fouls in the last moments to relieve pressure on the backline.
No idea why he wasnt given more time. Lukaku was a corpse and missed 3 fantastic chances. If sardar missed those chances god knows what narrative here would have been...
Roma fans on twitter/reddit pissed he didnt start and again very happy with his contributions.
"I would think more about the redemption (technically and economically functional) of Azmoun, rather than that of Lukaku (financially criminal and meh meh meh technically)"

I watched from 60th minute and on, he came on around the 85th minute - excellent cameo from him.
Drew two important fouls to help kill the game, one drew a yellow card on Sassulo defender and was a result of him intercepting a poor pass in the midfield. He had some excellent hold up play to help slow things down, actually far better than anything Lukaku had to offer during the match.
The fans really cheered him on, there was a chant for him when he drew the yellow card on Sassuolo and on top of that, they made a big hurrah when he was subbed in.
Overall very good cameo, little could have been better other than one opportunity he had in the attacking third where the touch didn't sit right on his foot, but he really didn't have any serious service. All the activity he contributed was solely his hard work
On another note Celik and Lukaku were truly awful tonight
