He is only doing this to get out of Bayer contract! He will be back in Europe before the end of the season. Guaranteed.
Bayer won’t consent to any other move and Shabab is the only club that’ll pay close to what Bayer wants. The choice was stay in Bayer and ride the bench or get the bag at Shabab. He took the bag.

So much to these guys always talking out against the Arabs of the Persian gulf only to end up playing for them(Ezza n Sardar) absolutely pathetic morons. Let’s all bully him into backing out of this deal like we all bullied him into quitting TM in 2018. Or else its thank you for everything Sardar and see you never. No one can defend this guy at all. From having it all and being to able to come in to bust your ass and show Xabi he can play ball at least to a point where he can get loaned vs being a lazy non chalant asshat with his priorities all the way messed up. This is why I think he should be cut. He will be in the worst shape of his life while in Dubai and his game willl drastically get worse. We need to cap younger guys asap and have Mehdi run the FW show. No space for Sardar anymore.

Damn, from Leverkusen to Roma to Al Ahli at 29? Only transfer i remember more depressing was Karimi leaving Bayern for Qatar at 28... All that while he could have joined Wolfsburg (who won the Bundesliga a year later) and several other clubs in Europe. He even had the option to extend with Bayern for a 3rd season.
Anyways he will still be our best striker alongside Mehdi for the next 2 to 3 years so let's hope he can stay at least somewhat in shape. The best Karimi we ever saw for TM was the Al Ahli one now hopefully the Al Ahli Sardar will be the same.
