He has done more defensively this game than all his games at Zenit combined.

After the first 5 mins he settled in. His hold up play is much better compared to before, even under heavy pressure, he knows mou will kill him if he doesnt hold it up lol. Good contribution on defensive end too.
Shame it had to be dybala with the injury, he is their entire offensive mind...hopefully nothing major.
Really critical roma win today, especially with napoli and ac milan dropping pts.
Lukaku in his big time gav mode...dzyuba was more agile than this guy

needs to stop being so scared to hold on to ball more and find a target in attack
pretty good spell for him overall though
half time

Other than the header that wasn't on target, he's been pretty good. My hunch is that the back passes are Mou's instructions. Azmoun did it a few times and he typically plays more progressive.
But Roma will bunker down defensively and try to protect this lead (which will limit Sardar's opportunities coming forward).

Regarding this Dybala guy: I dont give a shite about his injury. This is Sardars opportunity to take his spot.
the goal should be to earn himself a spot in the lineup alongside Dybala and Lukaku, forcing Mourinho to use a front 3 formation

Azmoun can score a hat trick and he’s not gonna take Dybala’s spot. Dybala is simply their best player and maybe the best player in Serie A

just now lukaku tried to hit him with a pass on the breakaway but ball was well behind him and he had to slow his run and pass it back
