I don't think Roma will play Lukaku and Azmoun in front with Dybala behind. It will be certainly Lukaku (rotating with Belotti, Azmoun) + Dybala.

As all these players are injury prone (Lukaku, Azmoun, Dybala) maybe the less injuried will get the most playing time.

work hard for Mourinho. That’s all he cares about. Form, goals, style of play … as long as you listen he will give you a chance. Cross him and he will bench you forever.

Azmoun already crossed Mourinho to join Leverkusen 2 years ago. Maybe he is getting his revenge. The Uzbek Azmoun went to Roma and it didn't go very well for him (6 goals there which is better than Azmoun at Lkusen)

Not a good idea to join if Lukaku is incoming. I wouldn't be surprised I'd the deal falls through. Atalanta would be the better choice now.

                    TM first
Anyone who turns his back to TM for club interest is not worth following closely!
Specially for such a major tournament!
If it was freindly, first round of WCQ, tokhmi tournament it was understandable, but not AC!
                    Hope this news is BS!
Anyway, his TM career is on decline also, majority of his goals came before age of 25!
                    Thats why Daei remain legend

Bayer minutes off the bench, while making a fat stash, starting to look a lot better than Roma's now..!!?
and to think that he possibly had to sell his soul (TM service) for a lousy loan spell as a possible bench warmer role in Roma..!!?
better off going back to work-shelf and this time actually put in some work into making the team there this time...!!

                        ps

i remember reading that Roma are still in the hunt to bring in another striker yesterday.... but didnt think it'd be some Starter quality and already SerieA established one, be it on a lazy(unmotivated) roll these times around..!

The difference is that if this player succeed in Italy it will open doors like Taremi did in Portugal and benefit our football at the end

Lukaku, who couldnt start over 37 years old dzeko last year? Abraham is not in the picture period, earliest he will be back is april, basically at the end of the season, and even then after ACL tear will take months to get back into any type of reliable form.

If Sardar wants to play on a top team competition is the name of the game. If he doesn't like it or should "cancel the move" after greeting fans at the airport and facetiming mou, then really the best place for him is zenit. This is the loser mentality that Iranian footballers are famous for. But if he went there you guys would all throw a fit too... However, the situation you describe where he walks in and is handed the keys to the city can only be recapitulated if he went back down to that kind of level.

Going to Atalanta? You think there is lack of competition there? They just signed Scamacca from west ham for 25 million (got him before Inter did) and Charles de Ketalaere on loan from AC milan and both sat on the bench behind Zapata (mou's first choice) and Lookman, not to mention luis muriel colombian international still sitting on the bench too. This is not even considering their record signing Bilal Toure, who will be back in 3-4 months following thigh surgery. Count how many fwds he would be competing with there...

Roma are a massive club, are in Europa League and fighting for CL qualification+ in Italy this year. They play a 2 CF system, 4 players for a 2 CF system is standard practice. In this case 1 of the 4 (Dybala) can even play behind the 2. The other 1 belotti does not have a fraction of sardar's talent, although is a hard worker, but with very little production since moving to Roma. All 4 are struggling on an off with injury issues in the past 2 seasons.

Do you realize how much competition roma have in other positions? Take 3 CM slots for instance (assuming they don't use dybala as CAM, which they very well might)...Paredes (WC winner), Renato Sanches, Lorenzo Pellegrini (captain), mou favorite Cristante, highly rated youngster from their academy Eduoardo Bove, and Houssem Auoar - their star free agent signing from Lyon. 6 recognized midfield players + Dybala for 3 spots. Yes, competition is everywhere !

Of course, he will have to earn every minute, at leverkusen or at roma...Still in all there is less competition here because of 2 fwd setup, which xabi would never employ.

And what did anyone except Taremi do with the door he opened? We need our best legionnaires to be present. We’re not like other countries.
