From this it seems that Dybala might be the CAM in a 352, supported by 2 CMs which Mou lists the many potential combos at his disposal.
This leaves Sardar, Belotti, the new Cf (yes maybe lukaku) and El Sharaawy as 4 fwd for 2 spots. From those if Sardar is indeed fit he has a much better chance of regular game time, given roma will play 2 games every week (Europe and domestic) than he would at leverkusen where 1 CF spot was going to be on the line for Boniface, Schick, Sardar and Hlozek.
Lukaku is a bit of a lump but in that sense he is like a much better version of dzyuba. His link up play is actually intelligent as evidenced by his work with lautaro in the past, but of course he is liable to miss great chances in the biggest stages of all (See CL final).
Here again, as mentioned by many of us, Sardar's most underrated and maybe best qualities i.e. excellent link up with other CFs, great recognition of spaces will be his biggest asset when mou is looking for the best pair for lukaku.
OFC even if dybala is pushed up to fwd next to lukaku, the two of them cannot play 2 games a week at this stage and havent been able to for years.Comment
