They have a ton of easy matches coming up both in league and UEFA. Plenty of time to get back on track.

They lost to Hellas Verona, got embarrassed by Genoa, and tied Salernitana. Not sure how much easier they can get..

Their main problem is defense. Smalling is injured, they lost Ibanez and Matic, and haven't replaced them with nearly good enough players.

TM will never be able to have such a high efficiency rate in final 3rd chances created as Genoa did today..!! in fact for every goal we score we piss away at least 3 other golden chances..!!
in fact not many teams could pull off what genoa did today...... ffs barring one golden chance early in the game where roma defender scrambled to barely clear out of 6 yard box, nearly every other decent scoring chance they created resulted in a goal..!
by contrast Roma had many good chances early in 2nd half before conceding the 3rd goal but the finishing touches were badly lacking ..!!
Mou fked up keeping a clearly exhusted and draggin asss lukaku in there for the full 90 and then throwing caution to wind by taking out 2 of the 3 center backs in favor of attackers..!
he really needs Smalling back in D and especially in need of a high energy, physical battler CM/CDM like Renato Sanchez ... both of whom are injured currently..!!
they went too attack happy in transfer market especially for coach like Mou who much prefers to build up from the back ...!
FTB they need to stick with 532/442 .... that one striker formation was that 3421?? that they begin todays' match certainly wasnt working for shitt... neither attacking nor when defending..!!

Do you really think Sardar will be trusted to play a lot when big stars like Lukaku and Dyaby can't even score or win games for Roma?

They will never believe that Sardar can make a difference and he will not get a fair chance to prove himself.

Definitely, we are not as lethal with the one chance a game Gucci magic as we used to be, but right now in transition we are pretty terrible and Genoa was excellent.

Whenever the ball was about to be turned over their strikers either cut outside or went behind giving an outlet.
They then either had a pass on to someone else or held the ball waiting for support.
Then they had their ball carriers take on the defense and get outs, corners, or create chances. Sadly, the fastest midfield player we probably have is Torabi if we dont count Sayyadmanesh

He still belongs to Leverkusen. The chances of him wearing the Leverkusen shirt next year is higher than him wearing Roma's - so it probably is worth still talking about Bayer as the default is that he returns there (unless he really performs amazingly at Roma and they activate) the clause to buy

Honestly worst transfer for sardar. It would've been great if Lukako didn't transfer. Hlozek is gradually getting more miniutes and this could've been sardar instead of him.
