People always looking for the downsides. We have people here hating on the Roma loan since he gets minimal playing time, but then praising his shape in TM performance… well how did that happen?? Xabi didn’t get him into shape like this. Mou clearly has him motivated here (even though people see the future as bleak for him with Abraham coming back). Who’s to say moving again for the 3rd time in the last 6 months, combined with completely missing the first part of second half of season could be good for him?

Apparently Italian media is circulating that Bologna have strongly inquired about Azmoun for second half of the season

HONESTLY I support it if its true. Bologna is neck and neck with Roma right now and they have much less striker options where Azmoun could help out a lot immediately. He needs to ask Mou what his plan is for him. I doubt Leverkusen are keen on keeping Azmoun if he doesn't get more play time and pick it up next summer. Especially with Tammy Abraham coming back soon.

I don’t know if he should agree to extending the buy option but transferring the remaining loan term to Bologna would be a good decision from footballing perspective..!
he simply isn’t going to get near enough game minutes in Roma so long that tanehlash Lukaku & Mou remain in the club & like you mentioned it’s only gonna get worse for him on that front going forward this season ..!
he is obviously anxious to prove himself worthy of more minutes by training as hard as he has ever perhaps but all the training in the world will not help him become a more favorable Starter option in the reamainder of this season for Mou & more importantly his game sharpness & finishing skills will take a hit as a result with Ac looming right ahead ( by all accounts he shoulda at least scored twice as many goals in the last two friendlies considering the chance created for him ..!)

Regardless, I highly doubt Sardar would push for this possible transfer..! He simply isn’t all that ambitious in footballing perspective & him & his family seem to be much happier in Rome than he ever was in Germany..! I think he’d even will do his best to make this Roma move permanent ..!
