LOL Azmoun is a predator, whereas Alireza is a different character
I think what Sardar did is fine as they are on rival teams, but he needs to be honest with Alireza as soon as he sees him after the game and just say simply "Alireza, I told my keeper". He doesn't even need to apologise because this is a competition.
Anything else, imho, could or would strain their relationship. If JB has to find out via twitter that Sardar told the keeper where he'd shoot then that's not great.
JB isn't captain material btw. I think he'll be a good coach and I think he'll really have a positive impact on iranian football once he retires but he has so many non-captain traits and his emotions just weight too much on him. I think he is very cultured and am proud of him but just not as TM captain.

there is relationship off the pitch, then there is another on the pitch against each other in a competitive setting ..!
completely different situations ..!
if you think what sardar did was harsh, you should come see me take on my older bro in tennis/volleyball .....! from all the harsh trash talk to mind games, ridicules, yellin.... anyone who'd watch us compete against each other pretty much assumes we are gonna get into an all out brawl sooner than later..!!
once the game Over the trash talking may continue for a bit longer but everything is honkey dory between us almost immediately after the game..!!

Guys, Kobe and Pau Gasol were best friends on the Lakers, now to the point where Pau is Kobe's daughter's Godfather. But when they played against each other in the Olympics (USA vs Spain), Kobe went full competitive mode, no friendship on the court. You play to win the game, full stop. If fact, there's a video showing how Kobe told all his teammates he's going to go full force into a Pau screen in the first play of the game to try to knock him off his game, and literally bulldozed into him. Winning matters at the end of the day, it's a competition.

Nothing wrong with what Sardar did. They're teammates in TM and are supposed to have each other's back 100% when in TM competitions, but at club level, they're on different teams and pretty much anything to gain a legal advantage over the competition is justified. That was simply a bad PK on ARJ's part having gone the same direction in AFC cup, Sardar simply did the job of what Roma coaching staff should've done anyway.
