Guys come on we all love Sardar but you can’t say Lukaku isn’t a better player, at least in this kind of system. Gotta put bias aside and give credit where it’s due. With a 2-0 score line, I think we’re more likely to see Sardar feature in second half😍

Until Sardar improves his target man game/De Rossi changes systems when he brings Sardar on, Lukaku will remain the number one choice (justifiably)

Last game starting lineup didn’t work well tho.. excluding the penalty, they just had 2 shots off target in the first half. The strategy of Sardar as target man didn’t work so he reverted back to narekhar target man.

i think the problem was more with their adapted 3 or 5 back system than sardar vs lukaku..!
Sardar woulda likely shined even more in 433 Today with dybala and el shaara as supporting wing attackers ... and off course this Monza's Defense looking much more soft n soorakh than torino's stout and physical backline ...!

anyways unless Monza pull one back quick after the break or pose a more serious challenge to the visitors, Sardar could possibly be brought on around 80min to rest lukaku for the Brighton clash..?

to play a sole Target 9/CF...!!
Sardar definitely needs to improve upon his hold up play and learn from Mehdi/ lukaku on how to keep the ball much closer to his feet on dribbling attempts and use his relatively big body/frame to shield it better against defenders..!!
been sayin that for years ....!

Sardar's Striker skillset is much more suited to a Two attacker system... he thrives best partnering another attacker with whom he has a good chemistry..!
