Saman just lost the ball in a dangerous area, he has to be careful dribbling deep in his own half.

"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

I guess it's not where we want him playing, but this coach is really loving him as Mr versatile

He was fantastic. His tackling technique is flawless. He was a creative hub for brentford even from full back, tidy in possession.
When he switched sides to the right he totally shut mitoma down.
Immense, fuck the result, he likely secured his spot in the xi until asian cup.
Also he delivered a lot of really dangerous set pieces, he was taking their corners and freekicks.
Saaman, Taremi, Sardar all hitting stride at the right time.

If we didn't have an obese call of duty addict with Atletico U16 in his resume along with a crippled Ali Karimi in our midfield I would've been down for him to start even at left back for team melli... That's how good he was there today!!! Pocketing Japan's Mitoma all game....
That being said we need him in the midfield too much

Great game by Saman. he continues to prove his detractors on Brentford and on TM wrong. He is finally being appreciated by the Bees fans.
Both teams had injury issues. But you have to give it to the BHA coach Zerbi. After he replaced that pretender Potter, he has molded a solid top-10 side in EPL. They play well, good consistent possession football, even with their injury problems.Sign this petition to show opposition to US/UK support for the Rajavi/MKO cult

I have to hold my hand up and apologise to forum members - I think i've always said that I don't really want him as CM hub/lynchpin position for TM.
Always rated him in a wide position but I disagreed that he could be CM
I was wrong.
He is so versatile and solid, in the world's fastest league (by quite a margin), with work rate and tactical intelligence, that he should be able to start anywhere. The level he is playing at is like night and day compared to our current defensive midfield/centre midfield partnership. He is too important to ever be on the bench

Ghoddos was mostly on the left not right so only defended Mitoma towards the end when Brighton were trying to hang onto the lead. His left side was excellently defended, completely quiet. When he did transition to the right, made some great tackles on Mitoma makes you wonder if they should’ve just put him there from the start as Brighton were rinsing Brentford on the right most of the game.
Offensively, he was a bit conservative but overall good with touch and possession, had a couple dangerous through balls that created good chances.
Maupay is a complete waste of a forward, terrible decision making in the final third and he hardly has anything to offer. Messed up several good positions at the end there. Franke, put Saman as striker next game i beg you it will at least be an more exciting watch
