Perhaps he could go to Russia since that league is taking a lot of our young players right now

Western Europe would obviously be more ideal but Russia is a far better destination than any Arab league or returning to Iran

good decision hopefully he goes to Portugal or somewhere decent
Ali Karimi was the best player in the 2004 Asian cup despite playing in UAE

kim min Jae developed into one of the best centre backs in the world at Beijin Guon

and the last two Asian cup winners had all their players playing in the QSL

I think the negative impact on the leagues is some what exaggerated

Ali Karimi wasted good offers from Europe to hang out in malls in UAE. He was way above that league from day one. He didn't learn anything there.

Kim Min Jae was developed in Korean youth teams, university, and his Korean club. Beijing was a step back for him.

From an individual standpoint, for non-Qataris its a very bad league that instills poor discipline and has maybe 3-4 big games a year.

Only league worse is the UAE league.

Al sadd he gets consistent Asian champions league and decent facilities - don’t think it was the worst of moves but I think it was entirely to do with with them planning to nationalise him - seems a big waste of $2 mil on Al sadds perspective but then again why would they develop young Iranian talent

I am guessing he will go to Russia next season since Sepahan has strong ties to Russian clubs now like Orenburg, Zenit, etc

Won’t happen this year. We’re not the ones offering Zir Mizi contracts.

                            Wow ,
all these statement are misleading your implying in a sense that these players becoming better by playing in UAE, or China , that is false

Ali karimi was already the most skillful player in Asia , he was just lazy and money hungry that why he played in UAE…. He actually regressed a lot by playing there

Kim min jae, got paid $10 million dollars a year to play there off course he wanted that pay day…

wining the Asian cup for Qatar , while you host the tournament for the 2nd time , and make sure you buy every single official and have VAR on your side , every single 50/50 call went Qatar's way , every single dubious penalty call went their way and they basically had bribed every single team they played against, they bribed our coaching staff ,

……. This Qatari team gets a lot of help , when they play in Asia ,

Frankly they at the skill level of a team like Syria , but with all of the sheikh money they spend , at least in Asia they can still bribe their way thru …..

There is no way Sepahan are offering salary cap compliant salaries with the players you've signed.

Aghaei pour signing is not finalized yet. Looks like the only team over the budget ATM is Teraktor with their new signings.
