almost one year later!
Moharrami also back after almost one year.
PAG also still recovering slowly.
our entire back line is basically a physiotherapist’s waiting room.

I don’t think there is anyone that is missed more than Majid Hosseini in the TM starting XI…..we desperately need him to get back to form before the March WCQs….but at the same time don’t want him to get reinjured so I hope he eases his way back in slowly in the coming few months ahead. Should play a couple 10-25 min games and work his way up from thereTeam Meli Iran

PAG, Kanaani, Shoja, M. Hosseini, Cheshmi, Noorafkan, Moghanlou.
I'm 90% expecting Haj Safi to come back soon to TM as well

I am sorry , but majid hosseini is probably one of the slowest defenders we have , he is great at playing as a flat defender who clears balls , but as player who has to come out and defend he sucks , he will lose all of the one on ones , he can’t come out and defend and to have a player like that in the CM position is not good .

im still hopeful🤞 of a late preWC coaching swap..! ( probably way too fkn late again..!?😡 )
there is already way too much domestic discontent brewing against GN regardless of group standings and decent pure results..! and he has few fans elsewhere in the world either ... !!
and more importantly we know how the tightwads @ IFF see the situation as and generally operate ..! To them the Later they are forced to make a proper coaching change is the le$$ they gonna be outa pocket paying for a semi decent replacement probably foreigner coach..!!

Majid another overrated one here
sure i will invite him again specially he got injured during TM duties but he is not tue solution, we desperately miss him all that..
No, sorry.. i don’t buy this for a bit!!
Sadly we suck in CD position! Non of the actual veterans playing their best football and Hosseini to me was always a liability!
young kids are long shot, i don’t find anything special in Hazbavi and Zare, lets see…

agree on hosseini. Was slow on his feet. Prone to bad fouls. Only loved because he plays in a league like Turkey where you can get away with that stuff.
if Montazeri hadn’t gone to the bathroom in the Iran Morocco game, hosseini wouldn’t even have played. I still think Seyed Jalal should have been our CB in World Cup 2018.

This whole culture of needing them to be young Ronaldos before they start in TM is why we still have leeches like like Kanaani in TM when he's one of the worst performing CB stat wise in league for almost 2 seasons! We need to be starting them and if they don't deliver after several games -> we can move on. But gotta stop writing them off before they even play.
Zare is actually super promising IMO, I usually call a spade when I see a overhyped youth player but IMO he needs to start for TM. Hazbavi is growing nicely in Sepahan towards end of season as well, quite a few header goals for them. But I do agree that he doesn't really have the foot work of we need of a CB in TM, though still one of our most hopeful prospects.
