I don't think GN is that dumb to let the beef in the way. GN knows without Taremi and Azmoun, his chances to make the semi finals AC plummet. He knows he needs to keep both of them happy without setting off the alarms that went off during the Skocic era. By the way, GN was fine to not play Sardar much at the time, since Sepahan was stacked with Ibrahim Toure, Januario, etc. It's best they all put it past them for the good of TM, and it's no secret that GN can't afford his second best player to tap out. He needs results
