This is the consequence of having a system that doesn't prioritize youth players - not any single coach.
Until these guys mostly ride the bench and no one trusts a youth player until they're 25 - then we'll continue to fail like this.

Uzbek is very strong. Hate to make excusss but we got a difficult group and all games were played in Uzbekistan. Bigger issue is Malaysia and their easy group, Tajikistan barely beating Laos. The big issue is AFC and their insistence on games against last place not counting in every fucking tournament lol. We can blame coach as he was awful but 1-0 loss away to Uzbekistan is not that bad.
The fact that Iran won 2 games 3-0 and 4-0 and lost 1-0 away to Uzbekistan which was pot 1 team and still did not qualify is IMHO a failure of AFC and not Iran. 6/9 points should be enoughComment
