It’s not unlucky. Uzbekistan could have easily scored three more goals today.

We should have scored more goals against HK and Afghanistan. It’s also ridiculous how many yellow cards we received. Even our assistant coach couldn’t keep his head cool and received a yellow card today.

The one player I feel bad for is Hosseinnejad. Almost every other player either gave a poor pass that (could’ve) led to a great chance for Uzbekistan or was constantly arguing with the referee.

We can rightfully complain about AFC joke system, but don't forget we are the kingdom of Self Sabotage in every field possible.
All the U23 games I saw from this team was utter shit, from waff to this qualifiers. A team that can't do two passes doesn't deserve anything and would have lost to Tajikistan or Iraq later (let alone Japan and SK).

The only regret is that AFC joke system didn't allow us to crash more badly as a good wake up. Now we will hide behind the red card and the narrow miss.

In Tajikistan group North Korea doesn’t participate and two teams Australia and Tajikistan gang up to qualify together. And believe me everyone prefers to have Malaysia qualified. So we’re out of Olympics. This time not even competing in last round. Even though with this government, federation and coach we had no chance as Japan, Korea and Uzbekistan most likely qualify and Australia will go to playoff.but it was important to qualify to U23 Asian Cup

به گزارش خبرنگار مهر، تیم فوتبال امید ایران امروز سه شنبه در دیدار سرنوشت ساز برابر ازبکستان شکست خورد و با از دست دادن شانس صدرنشینی گروه H مرحله نخست انتخابی المپیک، فرصت صعود مستقیم به مرحله دوم این رقابت ها را از هم دست داد اما در نهایت مجوز حضور در این مرحله را به دست آورد.

تیمهای فوتبال امید در مرحله اول انتخابی در ۱۱ گروه قرار گرفتند که از هر گروه تیم اول به طور مستقیم راهی مرحله نهایی انتخابی شد و چهار تیم برتر دوم نیز به این جمع اضافه شدند تا در کنار قطر میزبان ۱۶ تیم مرحله پایانی انتخابی المپیک ۲۰۲۴ پاریس را تشکیل دهند.

در پایان دیدارهای مرحله نخست انتخابی، تیم فوتبال امید ایران توانست به عنوان یکی از چهار تیم برتر دوم مجوز حضور در مرحله دوم انتخابی المپیک را به دست آورد.

شاگردان رضا عنایتی در مرحله نخست رقابت های انتخابی المپیک، مقابل هنگ کنگ و افغانستان پیروز شدند و نتیجه دیدار برابر ازبکستان را واگذار کردند و در نهایت بدون احتساب برتری مقابل هنک کنگ، با ۳ امتیاز در رده دوم گروه خود قرار گرفتند و راهی مرحله دوم انتخابی المپیک شدند.

بدین ترتیب تیم فوتبال امید ایران همچنان فرصت دارد تا بعد از حدود نیم قرن با کسب سهمیه لازم از رقابت های انتخابی، وارد بازی های المپیک شود.
