Drawing fouls is good in football if it means the other team gets a yellow card for stopping a promising attack. If one of those Bulgarian players happen to be already on a caution, they would be done. Both yellow cards were tactical fouls in nature which shows he was creating opportunities. Plus when you're up, drawing fouls from the opponent is helpful because it allows the game to slow down and recollect the team as needed
