This legit sucks.

First, they expanded the number of teams qualifying which takes away the drama and fun of qualifications. You really have to go out of your way to not qualify now. this also makes the opening group stage rather pointless, as there’ll be a larger number of B level teams, also too many games for fans to watch.

The WC in winter in a fake country like Qatar was already lame enough. but somehow it keeps getting worst.

The whole point of the WC is to bring people from different parts of the world , to one place, to enjoy the tournament together. This takes away the whole charm of it, and the togetherness. It’s very clearly all about money now with these decisions.

whats the fkin point of having the first 3 matches across the world in a whole other fkin continent..?? for some bs anniversary reason..? why not just pick 2-3 approximately located SA countries to host the whole tournament..!?

on the positive, looking forward to Spain and Portugal and i guess sorta Morocco? co-hosting..! Should make for a fun and exciting vacation ..!!

2034: Arab = Saudi

FIFA giving it to Europe (Spain, Portugal), Africa (Morocco), and South America (Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay) for 2030, so the cycle resets and they can give it to their $audi buddies.
