Not that I care about fifa ranking but just saying.

We should always look at these kind of games, as preps for our bigger games in world cup and asian cup. I don't care about the results, all I wanna see is younger players get tested and some good tactics and team work from our boys. Thats all I care , thats all we should care.

both games are great preps for our game against UAE.
The points counts for sure. What I meant was losing on pk is not consider a LOSE in ranking.

I just want tm play cq ....i never ever wanted tm to lose in my life BUT TO FACE CQ it be classic.we will see how gn will be in a must win qf , semi.
cq will treatit like wc final, and general will go all out too.
this could be last chance since no guarantee they face again.

Ghalenoei has taken a very experienced squad to Jordan. He wants to snatch as many wins as he can. He’s not looking to get sacked.

I know the match is taking place in Amman. We know Jordan are always a pain in the ass to play against and they’ll play as though their lives are at stake.

But anything other than a win for Ghalenoei having taken this Iran squad to this tournament will be a massive failure for Team Melli.

And I’m usually the optimistic one. But anything other than a W will be a failure. No excuses.

Nothing on ESPN, Fox, or Paramount. I'll find some streams tomorrow at gametime though, along with us having the option of IRIB3

Thats the problem, Ghalenoi takes a squad of 10000% experienced players to safe his job, but does that help Irans football ?
Even if we dont have talents, lets say we really dont have talents, still you need to replace 5-6 players with youngsters, our target is WC 2026, how will these 31 years old players help you in 2026

the fans and media will destroy him with 1 loss so naturally he is going to be result oriented.

Coaches that introduce new young players are hated by fans in Iran and media (Dehdari, Mayeli Kohan…)

As oracle said, Ansarifard is from Ardabil, was discovered by Daei and played in his Saipa team at first.
Ansarifard then was top goalscorer in the league at age 20.
He had tons of understandable hype.
Unfortunately he didn't leave in time to Europe.

He's a hard worker, a decent passer, and takes direction well. Coaches love that.
