We played exactly like a team that just didn’t care in the 2nd half
- lost all the 50/50 challenges
-every ball from a defender was wrong
-Sardar missed like 90% chance
- this is a friendly I mean no one wants to get injured
-Jordan was garbage (6-0 against Norway b , wasn’t a fluke)
-shoja and kanaai , showing a lot of their weaknesses in this game
-kanaai gave a 100% goals chance to Jordan player , who just whacked it wrong , but imagine against Korea or Japan that be a goal?!?!

the score line 3-1 could have easily been 3-2 for Jordan tonight , not that they were deserving of it or a really strong team , just that we made a lot of mistakes defensively..

This game was a testament to a team with no plan and tactics, and bunch of old and declining players who are not capable of doing anything right anymore and lacking stamina to sustain a 90-minute game. Today, they looked confused about why they are even on the field. What did the coach told them to do and what was his expectation of this so-called prep game is beyond me.

2. Throw out MOHEBI (please, he is a brainless deficit), JHB, RAMIN, HAJI, NOOR, MILML, KANNANI, SHOJA along with half of the old guys on the bench. Bench BEIRO as this guy starting to be another deficit for the team with his poor and weak passing and foot play.

Idk what was said in the dressing room , but we were mental out of the game 2nd half like everything we did was wrong , we also have some players on this team specifically that are maybe great athletes but their IQs are super low , so yea that in it self is a problem too

the limitations of this team were very clear , if you choke of the midfield and forwards from one another and press the defenders we like make a lot of mistakes and lose focus quickly

again friendly games are supposed to test players , results really shouldn’t matter at all in friendly games. If you had played the younger players on the team and went with a very experimental lineup and lost this game, so be it,


skills wise we are wayyyyy above Jordan , but just the fact a team with so little talent and skill was able to bothers us until the very last second of the game is a big concern

I have no problem including Saeed, but God help the team that Ramin ends up to be its best player!! Sad day! The guy lacks basic understanding of what this game is all about and how is it played.

Hammering everyone is not fair. You’re too negative man! This is Iran not Spain. Iran hadn’t won against Jordan in our last 3 matches with them; team Melli managed to win 3-1 on their field!!! Result wise not bad. Spain beat Jordan 3-1 here in Amman in November 2022. And the player that you want be benched (Ramin) was the best player of the match providing a beautiful assist and many great crosses!!! JB was the reason Jordani team couldn’t penetrate. The min hexwas subbed the wing was shattered!

I agree with one of your points: Fire GN. Yeah would be a great idea to bring a big coach; however even in that front it’s hard to fire a coach with 100% record! Let’s see what he does with his real enemy CQ 👍 If he can win this tournament by beating Quieroz; then not too bad. I say give him a chance to be assistant coach of Jose Morino (for instance) 😉

They way the played the 2nd forget AC and World Cup2026, just bring the most high profile coach that we can afford or will come to Iran , and start project WC2030(Spain/Morocco/Portugal) ASAP , we need a massive rebuild now , more than 80% of this team is above 30

Wow! It’s been a long, long time since I’ve seen a TM performance as shambolic as that.

Second best to everything, tactically a joke, couldn’t keep the ball, off the ball even worse.

In terms of individuals, the centre backs were an utter embarrassment, yet Ezatollahi somehow managed to show them up by playing even worse. The ultimate blame for such a ridiculously bad all round performance has to go down to the coach though. The clear lack of intensity, cohesion or a game plan from a group of players that have played together so often is bad enough, but not changing the 4-4-2 that was clearly never going to work with those central midfield pairings is even more concerning. The game was screaming out for some fresh blood in Hosseinnejad.

Hang on, I’ve just remembered the last time I saw a TM performance that bad. The Wilmots fiasco!
