I am really impressed with this TM tactician Manicone. He was basically coaching the team from the side line in the 2nd half, not GN.

Does he have a coaching Licence ?? May be he can be our head coach after the AC.

We did get the win at the end but i think this game exposed something that GN can use moving forward. The lineup of azmoun taremi mohebi ARJ ghoddos needs to be tweaked. There was no link between the CBs and the attack. Most of the game was spent passing the ball between Shoja, PAG/Kanani, Beiro, Ramin and then we would somehow bezan ziresh our way into an attack. Ghoddos is really good at the TM level but he’s no Xavi and can’t handle the entire playmaking duty. Not sure what the solution is because it’s not like we have great midfield quality but I hate watching the same bezan ziresh football every time there’s a TM game when we have absolute quality in our two strikers. This same problem occurred under Skocic and if we unlock it, we could genuinely become the best team in Asia by far.

like i said many times prior, the Day a proper Int. coach could finally teach TM players making quicker passing triangles much more in consistent manner we will remain pretty much at the same levels as we are now @best ...! when especially the domestic players learn how to move w/o the ball Much Much cleverly and open themselves as a passing outlets then we can dream of matching up to the might of Japan and only then a player like Sammy could perform at same/similar levels of Xavi..! until then we continue to rely on the occasional flashes of brilliance and luck to garner impressive victory vs quality opponents..!

Great performance by Iran but honestly this Qatar is more like a Shotor than a team. So far we have not been really tested so plz hold your horses a bit.

Remember, before the game against Qatar; we kept saying this is the defending champion. Blah blah Moez Ali and some other foreign player they have. Qatar was going to challenge our defense. But today; we say Qatar was shotor. I start from myself:

I have to accept that in Asia only Japan can really challenge us and match our offensive mastery. I think I was wrong about GN. Well he proved me wrong for now. Kanaani should be banned from TM.

His actions today after his first goal, when all his teammates tried to stop him, combined with his previous bonehead moves (Uzbekistan match, bangbus, etc...) Shows that he is an immature person that is liability.
The gap between him and his competition isn't big enough to justify rewarding his shitty behaviour and also risking red-cards in important matches.

I think he means that Kanani was rubbing it into CQ with his dance for basically benching him at the WC.

To be fair he almost always does that dance, but it was clear he was running towards CQ as you can visibly see Jahanbaksh telling him to stop, and other players trying to hold him back a bit. He is hotheaded, and makes very stupid decisions at times, and on the flip side he can also be extremely solid defensively, with clean passes, and great headers. Shoja has matured a lot and is very calm now, hopefully Kanaani can follow in his footsteps.

I am very worried about Morteza, that looked like a career ending injury. Hoping for his sake he has a quick recovery. With him out, and I am not sure where Hosseini is, that only leaves us with Shoja and Kanaani as senior CBs for the AC

He definitely is a liability, he's proven that time and time again. I thought GN was taking a stand by not inviting him last camp but he invited him again all of a sudden.
