When he scored, he immediately started running towards CQ and did a dance at his direction.

In the replay it's very clear his teammates sensed that he was about to do something stupid and tried to stop him but he shook them off and did it anyway.

He is hotheaded, and makes very stupid decisions at times, and on the flip side he can also be extremely solid defensively, with clean passes, and great headers. Shoja has matured a lot and is very calm now, hopefully Kanaani can follow in his footsteps.

I am very worried about Morteza, that looked like a career ending injury. Hoping for his sake he has a quick recovery. With him out, and I am not sure where Hosseini is, that only leaves us with Shoja and Kanaani as senior CBs for the AC
I am also worried about PAG. I just don’t understand why players such as him risk injury by doing a hard tackle in the middle of the field. It’s one thing if the ball is near our goal but there is no reason to go for a hard tackle when there is no danger.

Qatar was not a good team today. Even worse than Jordan and far from its good shape at last AC. Carlos is building this young team for the next World Cup. He knows Qatar has little chance to win the AC next year... He won't get fired for this meaningless result.
Qatar has easy draw in ac
they are in group with China and Lobnon, tajik.
If they win the group very possible
They will play a weak 3rd place team.
once advance to qf they play most probably Oman or jordan, or even weaker team....
They can reach semifinal and either iran or s.k is their semifinal opponent.
3 months to ac expect a different qatar team comes jan.

Well the general’s unbeaten record amongst the minnows 😉
Gn earned it today to be tm hc in ac and we must support him. he went to the film room and decided to play football irani....he set our football back 35 years today by playing "ali asghari"
once again as I mentioned before general will go
14 wins 1 lose 1 tie and his lone lose will be in qf against s.k and he will wonder why his fired with 14-1-1 record...... with this score line can't fire the coach and bring Yahya in even though that's correct move, but it's impossible....at this junction
just best to enjoy these MIRAGE RESULTS and once that s.k match come ac JUST HOPE FOR MIRACLE......basicly teammelli is cluster f..k with galenoie .....hope i am wrong.

Also....Antonio Manicone....what a guy. He is for SURE involved in starting Ghoddos and making our defensive structure better from last game.

Lastly....Ezatolahi leaves a lot to be desired still. I don't know if it was the bad pitch but he kept on tripping this whole break after kicking the ball
All our players on the bench or starters can start all the games from here on and tm will win all the matches all the way to qf match.

              Question is this
IN A SENSETIVE LB POSITION WHO WOULD BE BEST AGAINST S.K?
speed of mohamaddi is great ,him over ehsan .
hajsaffi hope with him bench it would continue
              .
MY PICK AGAINST S.K in qf and final vs Japan IS VAHID AMIRI..... I know he is 36 and won't be around for 2026wc but when he is around and in must win matches amiri should start.
also ali nemati from pp and healthy norafkan are options.

              1 . Amiri
              2. NOrafkan.
              3 .mohamadi
              4.nemati

His actions today after his first goal, when all his teammates tried to stop him, combined with his previous bonehead moves (Uzbekistan match, bangbus, etc...) Shows that he is an immature person that is liability.
The gap between him and his competition isn't big enough to justify rewarding his shitty behaviour and also risking red-cards in important matches.

They are food for the audience. Each individual in the stands eats more than one cricket/grasshopper hence more crickets than fans

As I said for the last game, it was a friendly so we shouldn't put too much weight on it, but here are my thoughts:

                      - See how much less attacks we allow when someone like Hajisafi isn't our LB? Milad actually covers and runs back and plays as a defender first and foremost. Yeah he has a bad touch and isn't a great forward player but he defends.

                      - Saman is one of GN's favorites. People seem to go out of their way to avoid giving credit to GN for using him properly. I still don't think Saman will be used in matches where we are the "underdogs", but when we want to move forward he is excellent. Even defensively he was really good and we didn't have a massive black hole in our mid like we usually do.

                      - I looked ad that Beiranvand foot dribble and foul situation again. I don't think he was trying to dribble. His first touch to receive the ball was poor, and he wanted to make a quick pass after to save himself. His cleat got stuck on the pitch and messed him up more and he had to foul to avoid further damage.

                      - I hope PAG is ok, but that looked like a very bad injury and he knew right away.

                      - JB minus his one goal and one almost assist (to Azmoun) was really quite poor. I try not to think of him as a consistent player anymore. He is all about brief moments.

                      - Nice to see JB and Azmoun both score with their left foot.

                      - The things alot of you guys want (more young players, faster style of play...) are not something that can be implemented or solved in a TM level. These have to be resolved at club level and then TM youth level.

                      - We played well in both halves and the negative hysteria by some fans was too much.

                      - We clearly have a style of play (quick transitions, move the ball up quick, play the ball out from the back...) and tactics. To infer otherwise is unfair.

This was a good test for B tier Asian teams.
We still need bigger and better matches to really know how we'll do against Asian and eventually world elite.

We have qualifiers in November, and then a couple of friendlies in Winter without our legionnaires. Let's see what changes if any can be made.

For me this would be ideal TM if everyone was healthy:
                      Beiranvand,
                      Ramin Shoja PAG Mimo/Amiri
                      Ezatollahi Ghodoos
                      Torabi Gholi
                      Taremi
                      Azmoun

Probably trying to get under his skin so he gets a second yellow and gets tossed. He kept his cool but yes. Such bs to have an arab ref for this game.

                              Really our weakness currently is
                              lb,lw,rw
Your line up of amiri LB, torabi and gholi on the wings instead of jb and mohebi will be great.

biravand ,ramin, saeed, saman, medi, sardar are set on stone.
The cb position Hosseini kanani, shoja, pag they almost on same level .

                              It leaves lb,lw,rw
general loves gholi if he is healthy he get call over j.b. ......general will go to grave with mohebi... ...
I hope days of ehsan starting in tm is over
But those big matches we are underdogs someone like general looks for experience to see ehsan starting against s.k as LB is most probably his choice...

My take was that the players were told not to celebrate goals because of the Palestinian situation (and esp just next door). They might have already heard about the hospital attack too.

I think Kanaani started running and right away he was being reminded to stop his celebration. He just didn't give a rat's arse.

The other goal scorers, and even Kanaani for his 2nd goal, were subdued.
